With the uncertainty behind a possible Razer Phone 3, this seems like there is hope for a new model.

Thats an awesome deal. $500 for a 120hz screen and a big battery. Only downside is no certainty of updates in the future. 😞

Absolutely gutted i paid almost full price direct from Razer online store for my replacement, literally had mine in my hand now for less than 3 weeks, wish i'd held out just that little bit longer...

Sadly this kind of thing happens a lot, wether it's for a phone, a game or even a car (i missed a 2000€ economy for 2 weeks).
My bad for english mistakes but i try my best.

I bought the Razer Phone 2 for $650 (at $150 off) three days before the $300 off pricing went into effect. Razer customer support very nicely credited me an additional $150 so I would get the full discount. I feel like I stole this gorgeous and beefy $800 phone for $500. :big_grin_:

Man... and I just got this phone last month. Oh well. It's a great phone, and I don't regret my purchase at all.

Though, I will say I liked the Tudia case over the Spigen one. While the Spigen case looks nice, I went with the Tudia case since the opening for the Razer logo was smaller (a triangle to match the exact shape).

You can get the Spigen case on Amazon for $14. That's what I have.

I considered that one too. I just wasn't sure the quality and since I've had Spigen cases before I trusted it. But, in all reality, most of these are made the same anyway so it probably doesn't matter.

I hope they include a 3.5mm jack without the need to always carry the dongle, it's a shame how it's one of the few phones on the market with such a good DAC and no analog port 😐😖

Actually there is no DAC in the phone, the DAC is on the USB-C adapter and yes it is nice (this is why the RP2 won't work with USB-C-3.5mm adapters that do not have a DAC.)

but this happens way too often lol...to me as well.
especially if you are an early adopter for tech stuff

Even if given for free, I wouldn't accept this crap; I bought the RP1 on day one, and has been left without support nor updates for almost a year now, and what's worse, seems like it will never receive Android Pie.

Long story short: I have a device with the same bugs as new, paid a "flagship" price, and won't get at least Android Pie in a so called high end phone.

I should have known the phone was as crappy as the rest of Razer products.

Maybe juz an unlucky batch. If only razer is transparent enough to show the number of phone failure

Anyways... Been holding the razer phone 2 for 3 months... An enjoyable experience. The screen u see once and you will never want to see other phones when scrolling! Super fluid with chrome Web browsing and pokemon go action!
