If razer can create charging mouse pad
Would a Samsung Galaxy 6 with 15W Fast battery charging, Qi wireless charging (Qi/PMA) be compatible?
I think this looks pretty cool, especially with the soft top. But I think if I were to get a wireless charger, I'd want a triple charger. Given that I have a phone, a WearOS watch, and wireless earbuds... all of which could be wirelessly charged.

If Razer were to make double and triple device chargers, I think that could be a lot more enticing for people.

Oh, and something faster than 10W, too.
After we connect this charger to the computer and set the lights setting in the software, then we change the power connection to a PowerAdapter for fast charging.

Will the lights be as we set in the Synapse?

Hello everyone,

I have connected my Razer Charging Pad Chroma to my Razer Blackwidow Elite keyboard (USB A to USB C).Under Synapse 3.5.1030.101917 the pad is not displayed. So I cannot see the pad in the studio. Connected to the PC USB A to USB C didn't help either.
The pad is registered at Razer.

Is it normal that it does not appear or am I doing something wrong?
Is the USB C to USB C necessary?

Thank you and greetings

Ramotswa

Have you tried reinstalling Razer Synapse? I used to have this kind of problem with my Mouse. Reinstalling fixed it.

Hello everyone,

today there was a software update and the pad is now available
I might add that One pLus Warp Charger (30W) for the One pLus 8 Pro is at 70$(US).
So this is a pass.

Will the colour change to solid green when 100% charged?

Now I just need a phone that supports wireless charging, haha! This is super sick looking though, I dig it!
Razer Phone 2 wireless charger better.

Nice, interested and hoping for it on Razer silver.

I haven't heard of replacing the battery with an inductive version...the phone needs coils (which are separate from the battery) to accept the charge and transfer the power.

I didn't believe that Ikea sold one for that cheap. It's powered by USB-C :eek_: and the USB-A to USB-C cable costs just as much o_O There are many cheap wireless chargers. Even Kmart has a "10w" charger for 18 AUD that takes 3.5 hours to charge the phone, which is somehow the same as their 5w charger. Branded chargers (except cheap brands), on the other hand, cost wayyyy more. Samsung and Google, for example - they cost around 130 AUD for a stand and don't even have RGB. So Razer's are hopefully comparable to the high end ones. Can't imagine a 7 AUD wireless charger to be that great, but even $15 chargers can come with a 2 year warranty.
Razer could have probably made it 15w, but that creates more heat. OnePlus' 30w charger has a fan, and it still gets hot.

and it's 5$ CAD !! like 3$ US.
I didn't know the oneplus charger had a fan, but I expect more phones coming with higher charging wattage capabilities.
It's like too expensive for actual phones and not sufficient for next gen ones.
At that rate, I would have accepted to see it integrated with the headset base unit. Would make more sense there.

Hello Friends,

Razer Charging Pad Chroma looks really practical, inductive chargers are the future. The chroma is so pretty. ^ _ ^

My smartphone is not compatible, I hesitate to take advantage of Single Day promotions today on the Aliexpress website to change the battery for an induction version.
But I have already done a lot of shopping, my banker is going to argue with me again. lol

Insiders friends, do you have a compatible smartphone or have you already replaced the battery for an inductive version?

ikea wireless charger is a 5W unit priced around 5$.
I don't think that a 75$ unit, twice the wattage and with chroma is reasonnable.

But you're right, 30W is still rare, but 2021 model phones are just around the corner.

I think the only brand of phone with 30W wireless charging is OnePlus. Third party wireless chargers don't seem to be more than 15w, but some are still only 10w and cost at least as much as Razer's Chroma pad (though they are either stands or dual chargers).

In fact it can be, but not at this price point, even with chroma.
As another forumer said, it should have been integrated to the headset rest at least.

And yes for this price point, a 30W or more version would have been very interesting.

I can't say for sure if 10w charging is enough these days.
