Flagship//Gaming has never looked this good, meet the Razer Phone 2: http://rzr.to/phone2

The next generation Razer Phone is here, and the silky-smooth screen is better than ever. The 5.7’’ UltraMotion display boasts true 120Hz touch sampling and display refresh rate—making this the fastest screen in mobile gaming.

Coupled with the unapologetically loud Dolby Atmos dual front-firing stereo speakers, the Razer Phone 2 supports both HDR and 5.1 surround sound content. Perfect for games, music, and movies on the go, nothing comes close to this ultimate mobile entertainment machine.

What’s more, we made no compromises with the all-new upgrades. Featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 2.8GHz processor, 8GB RAM, and advanced vapor chamber cooling—the Razer Phone 2 provides great performance at work and play. We’ve even upgraded the camera, so you can capture stunning photographs and precious memories no matter where you are.

Last but certainly not least, we’ve added Wireless Fast Charging so you can get juiced up quick, IP67 water resistance to weather any storm, and of course an illuminated logo powered by Razer Chroma for full on customization.

Premium flagship features combined with industry leading gaming performance—this is the all-new Razer phone 2. This is Flagship//Gaming: http://rzr.to/phone2

Great phone! I wonder if any carriers in Canada will work with it, and if the $799 is usd so it would be more in Canada or if it will be the same across the bored.

Where the hell is Project Linda?!?!!

That was a concept at CES, so it may be a long time even if it does become a real product. Those bigger more arcane concepts don’t become real products very quickly because they might have issues or they may cost way to much to make it worth it.

12:01, so 3:00am EST, correct?

3:01 AM EST to be exact 🙂
But more expensive in Canada 😞
Well, last year I managed to score tickets to the Keynote and had the Razer Phone ordered within 24 hours.

Couldn't go to the KeyNote this year. But jesus, I am definately pre ordering the phone later 😃
The phone is a nice bit of kit, but I got SUPER happy when I saw this. Please get this wireless charger in stock right away. My desk needs it! #chromaeverything

Interesting to see how the IP rating is gonna work with those giant speakers. Sound might not be the same as the Razer Phone 1.

Is the Cortex app gonna be available through the Playstore? Or it is restricted to the RP1 and RP2. 😞
So it supports verizon but the lte 25 band was removed which killed its sprint support capability...
how much though?

my thoughts as well. If it's anything like what Logitech did with the UE roll 1 & 2 (my only real experience with decent water resistant speakers, bluetooth no less). It might be decent quality. I was thinking Razer would go the lifeproof case route for the water resistance. That way speakers would not be messed with, nor thermals for that matter and still have protection via a case.

I managed to fix my Google Nexus 6P recently by replacing the battery so I can hold off until the next Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with 5G Technology comes out.

But I do have to say that Razer did a great job with this one. If I have to buy a phone right now, I would definitely buy the Razer Phone 2 over the Google Pixel 3 XL especially since the Google Pixel was very disappointing this year.

Keep up the good work Razer and don't copy the Apple iPhone lineup like what Google did with their Pixel phones. I have a lot more respect towards this company with how much more original the Razer Phone 2 is and how it defies the mainstream aesthetics like the ugly notch in favor of what gamers want such as good front-firing stereo speakers.

All that AND still well under the thousand bucks other big names are trying to make into a normal phone price!

Not surprised to see this after the recent cheap clearance Best Buy had on the gen 1 Razer phone.

how much though?

it's $99.99 from us razerstore.com
Phone is a beast, looks amazing + CHROMA & HDMI!

Not all products, but it’s more products that has more than a year guarantee. And it’s may vary depends on region, especially EU with costumers protection due imported products law, i believe Razer Phone in EU has also 2 years same as Blade when I was checking or asking CS (forgot which one though Razer or Amazon for phone, but for Blade it’s 2 years and I’ve email that can proof it and also experience send it for diagnosis with all free payments after over a year usage because it’s covered by 2 years Razer EU guarantee )

The first time around the phone wasn't designed specifically to be on the Verizon servers, now that the Razer Phone 2 will be, I might seriously consider upgrading my phone from the Note 8 that I have now.

I'm finally taking the plunge, as soon as they release it in Australia.

I've only been on iOS the whole time I've lived here (my iPhone 4 was a better fit for what I needed to do than the Blackberry I brought from the US), but it's time for a new phone for me. I was actually looking at finally getting the first gen RP1 and then the "flagship countdown" started. I've got a gig next week with some per diem plus some OT this month, so my wife is totally on board with the difference between the price of the RP1 and RP2 (strange how any posts where I mention money, there's always something about permission from my wife).

Although the price drop on the RP1 EVERYWHERE is making it difficult to wait ... I hope the prices are still that low if the 2 is sold out here before I get to order one.

I ordered from the razer website.

That's quite annoying, I am currently waiting for Three to update so I can order mine as an upgrade.
why announce and release it in same week - but make people wait a whole month after they pay for it before they ship it.

i ordered the phone, the carboin case and i found a voucher for a free Goliathus mouse mat - ordered all at same time...

i have already received the mouse mat, then i received the damn phone case today....but i still ogt 3 weeks before I can even hope to see this phone...

is there any chance i will see this phone earlier???
just got my razer phone 2 today... I order it at friday night, and delivered today, that's greaaatttt.....

first hands on the phone really satisfied, love the boxy phone, bit slippery since the back is glass....
overall it's really great, sound is loud and good, camera quality looking good and the stutter also great not much problem in my eyes, the 120hz screen really really satisfiying....

little downside, the color at the screen for gaming app looks like a bit softy.... maybe the setting is not correct, but let me find it later....

This phone is awesome. I've played a while at PGA 2018 🙂
so what are the chances after buying the new Razer Phone 2 and the volume gets reduced again from the next update/patch?

Some preorder is already delivered.
The good thing is they use logo like my avatar on phone chroma apps, now I tempted😝
