I bought the "kevlar" case to see how it fits in my pocket and this thing is F****n ginormous. I thought I could get used to it (why I bought the case) but holy cow! It's not quite enough to put me off buying the phone but it is definitely a wide load compared to the iphone 7 and sony xz1c (which is about the same size as the ip7).

This phone will definitely help me carry my phone less (I'm an addict). It is wide which is the biggest thing to get used to. A bit taller as well (not as big a deal). Surprisingly, it is quite thin. I was expecting it to be thicker.

The case is nice, don't think it protects much as it is very thin but it's quite flexible. I'll probably get the silicone cases and hope razer adds a few more color options for the silicone case. (white? purple? red?)

Really glad to see it's waterproof as I use my phone in the bathtub a lot for movies and podcasts etc.
what's up guys, so I've been using razerphone 2 for about a week now and here is my review : (note that I like razer but not that crazy like since I skip the first version which in my opinion still have a setback)

1. Body (casing)
It's great, I like the boxy kind, it look so solid... the glass back also great... but like any other glass out there, the finger print problem, especially when the color is black, so to anyone who cannot stand the finger print can use case for it.... and one more problem with the body is that it's so slippery, not reccomend using the phone while you in sleep position, it dropped many times at my face, and it hurt since the phone is quite heavy....

2. The Razer logo
Really nice but it's not that usefull.... When I'm at home, I only using the logo light only for notification (it's low set at chroma app), but when I go outside, I'm using med setting, turn on while using the phone.... I'll try the high settting, it's drain the battery a lot, especially when you put the brightness at max... and I need to place my phone with the logo on top so I can see the light when there is notification, otherwise need to check your phone quite frequently.

3. Fingger print scanner
Love it.... It's responsive, not too fast but enough fast to enjoy unlocking the phone... I like the placing of the scanner, it's like automatic unlock when you pick up the phone....

4. Speaker
It's so louuuuuuuuddddd.... I'm not speaker person, so I'm usually set the phone on silent, but when I use the speaker, I set the volume at 20%, and for me it's already loud, never try using it at max volume, maybe later.

5. Screen
no need to commend much on this since you need to experiance it by yourself the 120hz screen, it's so smooth, for every games I played at, no matter it's 120hz game or not. But the brightness, for me it's bright, I set the brightness at 40% at room and 100% outside. So if there is someone outhere saying that it's not bright, you need to check your eyes bro...

6. Camera
I'm not a camera person, so for me the camera is okay, the quality is good, the stutter is quick, I hope the camera have a night mode, but overall it's good camera. If you are a camera person which looking for detail maybe it's not for you, but I don't know, need to try for yourself.

7. Performance
It's just great, no lag for every games I played, every app I'm using. It gets hot but a bearable hot, I mean if you play heavy games which required high resolution of graphic, it's getting hot but not that hot, just a normal hot, and it's cooling down pretty quick, so no worries for me.

8. Battery
5 Hour screen time from 100% to 25%, for me that's really great. I played injustice 2, Marvel future fight, and Lineage 2 rev, It's all done from 8 am to 3 pm without charging plus scrolling down on instagram and reading some manga. Then take about 1 to 1 half hours charge from below 10%. That with 90hz setting on reguler use and high performance setting on games with low setting on chroma app.

9. Others
I still remember that there is a problem at razer phone when it connected at computer, it cannot transfer data using the charging cable, well it can now, but need to change the setting at the phone. So when you plug in to computer, go to your phone, scroll down top menu and you will have the option for it.

something that I'm not tried yet, the wireless charging (need to wait for the availability for razer wireless charging), the waterproof (still trying to avoid the water), the bluethooth (not urgent, so maybe later).

So that's all a week experience with the razer phone 2, so for me, I satisfied with the phone, no problem so far (not asking), it's great phone for gaming especially and with the price, I think it's great value, should be more expensive but shoutout to razer for not upping the price too much.... cheers 🍺🍺🍺
120 Hz spoiled me so much, that I don't care about battery life anymore
btw the satin model is more expensive... while the mirror black model is $799, the satin is $899....

After the farcical support and promises made on the razer phone 1, I wouldn't touch it if it came with a free Ferrari. 3 handsets in 6 months 1 in the first week from my carrier, vibration motor and speaker issue one 2 months ago from Razer repair centre in Germany random reboots and dropping calls won't be touching any more of their products started switching over to Corsair and ill stick with Samsung for phones

and yet still have time checking their forum....

Yup cause it lets me see what click bait saps like you are ready to swallow the next load of shit out their sack of shit lying CEO's trap.

Lol well that escalated quickly
Glad to see they took my advice on the LED sign on the back and waterproofing. Now if only my blade had such a feature...

The new sony that I bought in august was defective so I'm back to using an iphone temporarily :slightly_sad:

I'm seriously considering it. My wife has a galaxy note but they are so expensive, all I use my phone for is phone calls and music so it seems like a waste. The size is quite large but I could use it as an excuse to leave my phone at home more often. :)

Razer literally gave me exactly what I asked for and I need a new phone. I guess because it's razer I'll buy from Microsoft store with a big warranty so if something goes wrong I'm not hosed. But nothing left for me to complain about now :cool_:

Did anyone of you know, when do Razer Phone 2 available in ASIA ???

Nov 3 in Singapore
Anyone interested at all I have purchased the Razer Phone 2 a week back or so and posted a live 1st impressions upload. I come from a Windows Phone 950XL and although I didn't want to switch, got no choice.
I went Razer for the Speakers and screen size.
Just got mine, it is AMAZING!
Adding this to my wishlist

Hey you hijacked my thread xD

As close to a sticky on here as I'm gonna get lol
I am quite surprised at the price for this mobile. I expected much higher.
I'm not gonna lie I like it. I will wait though and see how two things pan out. One will be how VZW handles this phone and if they will limit band use like what happen with HTC. The other will be just how much the camera setup has actually improved. Even on Razer's own site the photos from the phone look amazing dull.

Is the Cortex app gonna be available through the Playstore? Or it is restricted to the RP1 and RP2. :slightly_sad:

Live in the Play Store.

Couple things:

A) Razer really needs to sign carrier agreements like OnePlus is doing with the 6t. In doing so, the company will see greater adoption via the ability to subsidize the cost; and
😎 Enough of the concept project tease and bring Project Linda to life. It will offer a compelling reason to buy the RP2 in a crowded, hyper-competitive market.

Where the hell is Project Linda?!?!!

I've reached my daily limit of 5 likes. So here is a like.
