Going back when I bought the Razer Phone, I was expecting at least a decently polished product in every aspect, not just hardware and capabilities, but of course, also software and support; turns out this is just another crappy, shitty product from them, just as their peripherals are. This damn brick received software updates FOR LESS THAN A YEAR after being released: the last update is from July 2018, that's only seven fucking months, so, I'm left with an already obsolete device despite having paid a "flagship price" in exchange for a mediocre support, I cant' believe there are even cheaper, low end devices receiving software updates for longer than that, just an example, the XPeria ZX1 was released before the RP1 and is still receiving updates!, it's been months since that device was upgraded to Android Pie. And what about this Razer Phone crap?... simply nothing. I should have known this was going to be the same as with the rest of their products, but wanted to give them a chance
I have a Kishi V2 and I want to play it with an s23 Ultra. The controller is not recognized when connecting via USB C. I also noticed that my S23 Ultra does not charge via the external USB C connection from the Kishi. But I see many videos on Youtube how people play with an S23 Ultra. Do you know if there is a workaround? This is the second Kishi v2 that doesn't work.
Razer, it's been weeks since the pie update for rp1 was released and promptly taken back due to the Game Booster bug. To be frank, android 10 is being announced for many phones already, yet we are still stuck at Oreo. Not sure how many people care about the Game Booster functionality at all, I definitely do not. It would be cool if we could get any update at all at this point, even at the cost of killing razer software. Alternatively, could you just update us what are you planning? Have you given up on pie update and are we going straight to 10? Or is the Game booster bug so difficult to fix? Either way, we want to be more informed about what is going on.
I bought a Junglecat and a Razer Phone 2 last holiday season, and had the unfortunate clumsiness to drop my phone while in the case (no, it doesn't remotely protect the phone but I guess that's what the Arctech is for) and one of the rails that the Junglecat controller slides down on shattered. I contacted Razer support to try and purchase a replacement case as they're not listed for sale anywhere on Razer's site, only to be given a run around by support. They did the following: 1. Tell me they would cover a replacement (again, I only asked about where to purchase a replacement) 2. Then tell me 3 weeks later to literally "ask again in 3-4 weeks, we're busy" 3. Then 3 weeks later tell me they can't offer a replacement (never asked for one, again) and they informed me "Let me set your expectation that the spare part request is no longer available" How in the world do you sell a $100 accessory on your website and have no replacement parts?
I know the charging port is bad and I am capable of fixing the damn thing myself, but there is no clear place to go to request a part to replace it for my phone. I'm not interested in paying more than half of what bought my phone for and having it's data wiped just to get the faulty port swapped, which was bad before the warranty expired, i just put up with it initially, not realizing I could've made use of it then. I've taken apart phones and swapped parts and batteries before I would like to know how I could get/pay for a replacement part. You all have to have them, since you still offer paid support for the phones.
I was quite shocked to not see any threads about this so far :'-) So I'll just open one myself :D https://www.razer.com/mobile/razer-arctech So Razer just launched a new kind of fancy Phone Case, together with IP11 yesterday. (I can see what you did there Min) To be honest I am pretty hyped about this thing. If any of the promises they do on cooling/not interfering with Qi charge are to be true this is a pretty neat case. I also like the design. Here is what bothers me: All of the product pics/renders only show Iphones so far. It is available for the RP2 aswell, but there is not a single pic of it. How do they deal with the RP2 chroma lighting? Since they already did the bold move to cover the fruit on the iphones. Which in fact, I know, will actually keep some folks from buying this - since "One doesnt see from afar that is an iphone, and it even says razer on the case,! People might think have a RP... yak! So if anyone gets this - either apple or razer version. Pls, pls do so
I recently purchased a Kenwood DMX7705S that has Android Auto. I had it installed through Best Buy. Bluetooth seems to work well, but I want to use apps such as Waze. I am having difficulty getting my phone connected to the device even with Android Auto. I contacted Kenwood and they said there is nothing on the Razer Phone 2 that says it isn't compatible. Is there something on the Razer Phone side that might be preventing it from syncing correctly? Have anyone here had any issues with Android Auto and their Razer Phone 2?
After the Android pie update came out I have noticed that randomly my auto rotate doesnt work. Anytime you turn the phone sideways nothing happens. If I go into a game that puts the screen in landscape it works fine. But when I get off the game and go into an app that uses both portrait and landscape the phone is now stuck in landscape. Eventually a pop up comes up saying system UI isn't responding. So I hit stop and it fixes it. Restarting, powering off or even holding the power button down to cold boot it does nothing. Only started to do this to me after the pie update
I have a razer phone 1 and recently brought a razer phone 2. I don't know is it my eyes, the tempered glass protector or the phone screen itself; when compared with the razer phone 1, there is some washout on white background on the display of razer phone 2. On screen display that are having white background (example: settings menu, app drawer etc.), it seems that the white looks quite "washout" in a sense when comparing to razer phone 1. I uploaded a screenshot but not sure is it the same when viewed on ur phone. I have no idea is this suppose to be this way or?
So - I get an email from Razer - telling me I can order customised phone cases!! Because i own a an RP2 and RP1 I get pretty happy :) However - imagine my disappointment when I get to the site and discover that THEY DONT EVEN HAVE A CASE FOR THEIR OWN 2 PHONES????????????????????????? I mean - fair enough - even if your phone didnt sell as many as you wanted and you didnt make as much as you wanted from it you AT LEAST HAVE TO GIVE REPECT TO THOSE WHO DID??? RIGHT? this is like openly admitting 2 things: 1) you think anyone who bought an Rp 2 or 1 is a sucker and 2) You are admitting you were failures such arrogance is unbelievable and to be honest i was half expecting this as i was waiting for the page to load.
I've had the razer phone 1 for a while now, and as much as the theme store is updated frequently with new themes, I am still unable to find a proper dark theme. I've been using the redout theme since I've got the phone, since it's the theme that has the most dark elements in it. Nonetheless, my settings page remains mostly white, which causes many usability issues for me. Windows, Google, and others are slowly-but-surely implementing these white-on-black UIs in their apps and operating systems, as it ends up being a must have feature for night users. Does Razer have any plans to follow suit ? To create at least one high contrast / low brightness theme ? From a theming standpoint, there is no element preventing razer from creating a white-on-black theme that could apply system wide, as a bright text on dark background setup was already used by the Halloween 2018 theme (Albeit bright orange on gray) Does anyone have an alternative solution other than rooting the device and using sub
So I have just recently bought Razer Phone 2 and switch over from iOS. (So expect minimum Android knowledge here) I bought an external SD card and have it treated as "Internal Storage" already. So here's the problem. I installed many games now and got photos and videos from my old phone move over. I put them into the phone through the cable plugged into phone, so from my guess it is moved into internal storage. I tried to move the entire Folder of those photo in "File" but the option "move to" is not selectable. That's the first question. Second is, how do I move "Game Data" to my external SD card. I have move all possible game into SD already (Cytus II seems to have some problem and have no option to "change" the store location), but in Storage setting, Game still taken about 21GB, so I assume that they are game data file (such as HD pack, CG, etc.) How do I manage them abd get them i to the SD storage? I have tried the option to "Migrate Data" at the external SD card, but the storag
Greetings everyone! After some waiting and thinking, i finally decided to take the plunge and ordered a razer phone! I am very excited about it, especially since just after i ordered it i got the invite for elder scrolls blades and for some reason it does not look at all like the demo videos they showed on e3 (i think it was e3) on my iphone se - it looks like graphics settings are turned down for iphone se. So i look very much forward to trying it on my new razer phone and looking forward to exploring android! So are there any tips for razer phone/android newcomers? I used apple phones since they invented them.. :) Thnxx!
This 10w puck (with the same effects as the OG charger, but now with a 2 colour breathing effect) will cost $59.99, and IS AVAILABLE NOW! https://www.amazon.com/Razer-Charging-Chroma-Wireless-Charger/dp/B08K3VK6TL?ref_=ast_sto_dp It will also have a fast/slow charge indicator using the rgb lights. Puck requires synapse PC app to set up the effects. It can now, while connected to PC and dropping down to slow 5w charge, synchronize its lighting with other Razer Chroma-enabled devices for a unified look across your devices. I do wish they would have stayed true to being "committed to bringing new effects" to OG charger and phone, though. https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3902 Due to coil placement, this product isnt for us :slightly_sad:

Hi, I noticed a weird behavior on my Razer Phone 1 after Android Pie update. I noticed some apps change to dark mode sometimes. When it happens, whatever app using system default theme are dark (e.g., Play Store, Phone, etc.). However, randomly and all of sudden, the theme switched to light for all apps, back and forth. In another word, the system setting of theme just randomly changes, and I did nothing that may change the setting afaik. In fact, the theme setting is not even available on my phone and I don't know if it's by design. Screenshot of my setting attached, which miss the theme setting Any idea? It's super annoying. Regards, Fan
Does anyone else have this problem? When charging, as soon as the phone reaches 100%, the screen stays on. During the day this is ok, as it would just be unplugged when it reaches 100%, but trying to charge it at night is a major problem (unless the phone is flipped over so you can't see the screen!) Is there something I've missed in the settings that will stop this happening?
