About the Paid to Play Suspension.

We created Paid to Play as an opportunity for gamers to get rewarded, just by gaming. Since the program’s launch, over 1B zSilver has been exchanged and over 35,000 rewards redeemed by our fans.

We’re always listening to the community, and everyone’s feedback is important to us. With an increasing amount of negative feedback on the Paid to Play program, we’re going to be taking a hard look into the overall program and mechanics to do right for you and all the gamers who participated. While we take time to develop ways to make it rewarding and beneficial for all, we will suspend the Paid to Play program, effective March 1, 2018. In the event that we are unable to provide a satisfactory solution, the program will be suspended indefinitely.

Making Razer zSilver the rewards credits for gamers has always been our goal, and we’re constantly working on ways to introduce more rewards to earn zSilver. With over 50 rewards on the Razer zSilver catalog, kindly note that rewards will always be on a first-come, first-served, while stocks last basis.

If you’re a step away from redeeming your next Razer reward, here are other ways to earn zSilver:

• Using Razer zGold to pay for your gaming purchases
• Being an active contributor on Razer Insider
• Logging in daily on Razer Cortex
• Syncing your Steam account with Cortex: Deals
• Subscribing to Cortex: Deals newsletters and more to be introduced soon

We thank you for supporting Paid to Play, and welcome all feedback and suggestions on this thread. Should you have any other questions about Paid to Play, please write in to Razer Support or refer to our FAQs here.

Someone positive, that's something so rare on this topic !
That being said, i prefer the Blackwidow Elite over the Hunstman Elite for the USB and jack passthrough, and you can choose witch switches you want (i saw review telling that they Hunstman keys are quite noisy).

i redeemed a hunstman (not elite) and also a bw tournament edition...prefer my BW te for the smaller footprint.
and maybe also i migrated from a previous BW version. hence, i might be slightly biased towards BW

Can Somebody explain to me why people complain about something free? ok I will never have enough point to get a brand new Keyboard.... but a 30$ voucher is easy to get for most gamers! 30$ off is a nice incentive to buy a huntsman instead of a black widow!

i'm guessing a lot of those complaining were those who mainly benefited from "abusing" the p2p system where they use multi logon or afk to gain the max points per day.

with the current system of diversified points accumulation from various sources, the p2p method of gaining points is no longer viewed viable for getting "easy" points. even other methods are also not easy (but not impossible).

so, many of those must be really pissed
Haha thanks I was using this only using price as a way to prove my point... Unfortunatly im stuck with a gaming laptop 😞 ... I will get a real desk first then its going to be Chroma and Hue all over the place.... Enough RGB to give epilepsy!! Hahaha

love this idea! When i saw razer coins for the first time i said to myself " man, if this was mine able i would mine it". Now razer has put paid to play back 😃 and made coins mine able. i love the idea. But please update the paid to play to othe games such as starcraft or other triple A titled games.

While I appreciate the incentive to play, 50 silver a day seems a little "eh"... right?

It's still better than the nothing we had for a year, knowing that you can earn 50 with your PC and 50 other on mobile.
So 36500 a year (without taking account of bonus weeks like this one where you have X2 limit on mobile).
If you add Insider bonus and some Zgold transactions, you can have a decent amount before expiration and redeem some products.

hmmm. ... . appears to be 50 silver a day..... thats an interesting cap

Just so you know, Its back now
thank god its back

Because of what happened with the previous version.
Made you able to get 900 silver a day (more than 300k a year), so a lot of people used multi accounts to get Razer stuff greedly.
Why would anyone be mad about P2P

any reason why the op is a "deleted member" .....

I have a feeling that the OP is possibly no longer an employee at Razer. You can see his Razer ID higher on the page, and he was one of the Community Specialists. I haven't seen him around for a while, though, unless he completely changed his ID and started a new account.

This is sad, I don't get why would the users of the P2P program would give any negative feedback.
I hope they bring it back soon.

I do too! I don't get how anyone could have extremely negative thoughts about this generous program that Razer started to help out the community. I didn't get to use it much, but it gave me something to hope for and grind so that I could update my peripherals. This was an extremely generous program that was started by Razer that just went a little bit wrong. Hopefully, they're able to find ways to improve on it and rerelease it.

Cortex logins just got canceled. check the app and text above rewards page. RIP

I just found that out as well. That's a bummer. That's basically the only free way to get zSilver expect the suspended P2P and interacting on Razer Insider. It didn't earn you a whole lot, but it was great nonetheless.

Honestly, it's very old news at this point - but Paid to Play was suspended months back, so you're no longer earning zSilver by playing certain games. There are other ways to earn though, and there are posts all about it around the forums if you'd like to look into it further.

Oh thanks!

I'm so confused? What's going on!
