Basilisk V3 Pro takes forever to wake up from sleep mode

Hi. Just like the title. My Basilisk V3 pro mouse takes like 10 seconds to wake up from sleep mode. If I move the mouse, it will light up but it will not move my cursor until 10-15 sec later. Here’re what I have tried and none of them worked.

  • I updated both the mouse and the dongle to the latest version.
  • I tried connect both the Basilisk V3 pro and the Deathstalker V2 Pro keyboard to the same dongle.

Please help.

I’m having the same issue, just using the basic 2.4GHz dongle. Lights up, but moving the mouse around does nothing really, after I start clicking around frantically it might start to react.

I feel you. And still, no replies from any Razer support rep.

Yeah, I've done the above updates too, increased sleep timer to like 10 mins etc.

Sometimes it seems like the mouse only wakes after I pick it up, and put it doen again or if I tap keyboard before moving mouse/click. .

Though I've yet to find a reliable method.

Count me as another frustrated user with this same issue….

I use the mouse dock pro and have set the sleep timer to the max 10 min.

Sometimes I can’t find a reliable way (clicks, scroll, move, lift, drop) to wake the mouse and end up turning it on and off to get its attention. This is EXTREMELY frustrating in the middle of a flight sim where I may not touch the mouse for a period of time and it goes to sleep. When I need it, I need it.

It is very frustrating indeed. I work from home and there were times it directly affected my job when I could not answer a call in time.

Hey ya’ll,

I might have improved the situation a bit. In windows power options, try to turn off the “USB Selective suspend

Here’s the steps:

That way the dongle won’t go to sleep and the mouse will be bit more reactive. At least it seems like to me this helped a ton.

Didn’t work for me.  Mouse kept freezing

I’ve got the same issue with NagaV2 Hyperspeed.

Theses mice have got a mind of their own and it’s the most annoying thing in the world.

Help us Razer.

Basilisk V3 Pro 35k has huge delay to wake up from sleep mode.

Solution. Desktop users only. Edit system  power plan. “Type power plan in search. Click “Edit Power Plan” in search results. From the window that opens select  Change advanced power settings. From the new window that opens scroll down to  USB Settings,  USB selective suspend setting, change to “Disabled”.

Next scroll down to PCI Express, open Link State Power Management tab, on Settings Tab drop down set this to “Off”

These settings changes are for desktops. On laptops, following these directions could be used but, battery power saving properties may be affected negatively.

Enjoy fast boot.
