Razer nari ulitmate chat function audio not working

The headset has been fine up until now but when i unplugged the dongle to use on my ps4 and then then plugged it back into my pc the audio wasnt working at all. after some fiddling with sound settings i was able to get the audio to work  but had this issue where ALL the audio on my pc cut out when i joined a discord call, it would come back the second i left the call tho. now i have an issue where the game audio (aka all the audio besides discord) still works but the chat audio has completely stopped working. Everything is up to date and ive tried every method to fix it online, like fiddling with settings but it never seems to work. the weird part is the the problem with the headset only started right after using it for my ps4, and now it seems like theres a new issue with it every time i start my pc.
