Blade 16 - USB C charging issue

Hello,

I have few issues related to USB-C ports on my Blade 16:

  1. I can’t use external displays (which do provide PD, it is LG 40wp95) and charge the laptop trough the port on the left side (which is supposed to be DP + PD). The screen starts to flicker, and the battery keeps changing back and forth from charging to unplugged.
  2. The thunderbolt 4 port does not work at all, there is an issue in device meneger (code 43)

Therefore I can’t use any external display when I’m not connected to power supply, and I can’t charge the laptop trough USB-C.

Please advise what should I do.

Found this post looking for an answer for the same problem. I have also have the blade 16, and for some reason an external monitor stopped getting display signal via usb-c port. The same monitor did work with my blade with exactly the same setup before, and also still works with other devices. I have tried both ports, different cables, reinstalling drivers, but no luck so far.

Did you find a solution for this, OP?

Not really. Thunderbolt works fine in some cases, but with my LG display I do have to use power adapter, otherwise I can’t use this display.

I face the same problem, I bought a few days ago the LG 40wp95, and it works fine on my  MacBook Pro 2020 but for my Razer laptop it behaves exactly as you describe, even when I run Linux (I will check if I have the same error code in the device manager)

Anyone ever find a solution to this (I’m in the same boat with thunderbolt with my Blade 16)

No😔

I still have the same problem.
