How to exclude a device from an Advanced Effect

I have recently purchased Naga Pro with Mouse Dock Chroma. The dock has this nice feature where the color reflects mouse battery level. Now my question is, how can I make the dock use that feature while having other devices use the Studio effect. If I change the dock to show battery level, all my other devices also switch to Quick Effects. If I go in the Chroma Studio I can remove the effect from the dock, but then it just stays dark. How to live? :/
