I just downloaded the files and launched the audio visualizer, then proceeded to play music.
too bad it isn't showing on the keyboard 😕
I'm running Windows 10(64-bit). Didn't work at first, but after I downloaded and installed the x86 version of the VC Redistributable, it works. And I must say....

I'm impressed. Nice job!!!
well this is a nice fun feature, can be used for streams and videos and such, needs some more options on editing the the visualizer...

same prob wif me.
any1 help?
Download vc_redist.x86.exe instead of x64. This might help
i did the same as instructions says. but how can my keyboard know that im using that programm? restart computer? or activate sth so my keyboard know it?
Can confirm x64 install doesn't work, but the software launches fine after installing x86 on a win7 x64 OS. However, the program doesn't detect my chroma keyboard, or at least doesn't do anything. How are you guys getting it to activate? Could it be because of my multiple custom lighting configurations?

The program knows that you are using this keyboard,

so it should automatically do what the video does? even when i have a profile open like waves etc?

same question goes for me 😛
Does anyone know how to get the program to actually work in the way it does in the video? My keyboard responds to the visualiser but just decides to have a spasm of lighting rather, than anything like it meant to

Hey i hope you can help me.

my Visualizer shows some lights but my Keybord doesn't want to show them do someone know why?

It's based on volume, so turn up the amplitude if you're seeing a few keys light up. If you're keyboard didn't go black, you need to make sure you've enabled the correct SDK version (32-bit / 64-bit). You may also need to restart for the SDK to be installed correctly.

Also to everyone, make sure you're using the latest version of synapse.
Hey guys! Here are some answer to your queries.

To those facing the "mfc140.dll is missing" issue
Download the Visual Studio Redistributable version "vc_redist.x86.exe"
Only should you still face an issue, you can try the 64bit version "vc_redist.x64.exe"

As this is a very early build, it clashes with Advanced Configurator occasionally.

Change your effects to the default ones e.g. Wave, Spectrum Cycling. You can then launch the application and your keyboard/mousemat/mice will show a blank slate until a sound is played.

What products does it work with?
It works with the Blackwidow Chroma, Blackwidow Chroma TE, Firefly, Mamba TE and the Deathadder Chroma.

Kraken 7.1 Chroma is not supported.

The visualizer bars are really low, anyway to fix that?
You can bump the bar's height up by increasing the amplitude or your volume (not too much please).

How do I get the colours like the ones in the video?
Adjust "Foreground Mode" to the colour scheme that you like. In the video, I used "Rainbow Inverse". You can also add a "Background Mode" should you like.

*Added all these points to the main post too*

@Razer|Rfx forgot to mention that if you have used the Advanced Configurator, then the SDK currently does not work. Change your default effects to one of the standard effects for it to work (static etc.)

Ha! Same time as me
tried installing x86 first... MSVCP140.ddll,mfc140.dll and VCRUNTIME140.dll" are missing..

installed x64 MSVCP140.ddll,mfc140.dll and VCRUNTIME140.dll" are missing.

DEAD END
Doesn't seem to be working for me. I ran all the steps with the x86 version. I have a BlackWidow Chroma. Ive tried with Synapse running and not running. Tried with multiple sound output settings, and from different sound players (online, and offline).

Tried that. It didn't go blank. It's still on the default effect (static).
Mine goes black but then doesn't react to any sound playing. Any advice on how to get it working from there?
This is so cool, sweet
