Cortex v9.4.17.1004, Windows 10 pro (64bit)
When I click the play button in "My Library" screen, cortex will apply boost settings and start 'game desktop' mode, but won't launch any of my games (most are Steam games). I'm left with a blank game desktop screen. I can then use ctrl+alt+del and then use the run dialog to start the game, but then cortex disables the boost features.
I don't understand what I could be missing here. This has been an issue on both my previous, as well as new PC. Combing through this and other forums hasn't provided a working solution as of yet.
I just want to use Cortex to launch games with an absolute minimum of background Windows processes.

Hi there, sorry to hear what you encountered.
To investigate this issue, please submit a FEEDBACK from Razer Cortex. You can find it from SETTINGS >> ABOUT >> FEEDBACK. Please make sure that "Send log file" option is ticked.
Thank you.
try reinstalling the program
I have submitted a support request. The issue has been temporarily resolved by deselecting the explorer.exe option in the boost settings. It seems that option has a bug. I was told this would be resolved in the next update.
