I'd like to be a part of it

Is the Cortex itself doing the changing of graphics settings?

By broken you mean unoptimized? I've seen worse but I kinda agree.

they did a pretty bad optimization to this game

PUBG's been running pretty good the last year or so. My favorite settings have been Ultra on Textures, AA, and View Distance. And then Very Low on everything else (Low makes it look a lot better if you can still get high frame rates) 144hz, 165, or 240hz are your friend for this game. If you get stuttering disabling Fullscreen Optimization helped mine. Edit: Actually I think closing Synapse 3 is the best thing to stop stuttering, I close it everytime before I play and it fixes it.

I need to try the setting which you mentioned, thanks for the post. Cheers!

Not a PUBG fan, but I hope this can come to other games too in the future.

Exactly. This has HUGE potential for upcoming unoptimized games! (particullary console ports)

I am really hoping you can get Forza on that list of Future games to be incorporated. Cortex and by extension Booster is a mainstay on my system and I would love to see that BOOSTER PRIME on my list!

And what about cs:go, does it gets better with Cortex?

You guys realize Geforce already does this, right?
Maybe I am missing something, but I don't see the point of this, doubly so considering Razer won't be partnered with nearly as many devs as Nvidia, can someone explain?

RAZER CORTEX: BOOSTER PRIME BETA – SPECIAL VERSION FOR PUBG PC GAMERS

Dear Insiders and PUBG Fans!

If you prefer to Winner Winner Chicken Dinner on your PC, then you don't want to miss out on the Razer Cortex 9.6 Razer Cortex Beta.

What's new?

Razer Cortex: Booster Prime is designed to optimize game settings automatically on your PC to achieve that sweet, sweet spot for gaming. In the beta, you can test this feature exclusively for PUBG on PC. For those that don't play PUBG, stay tuned for announcements when we open up this feature for other games.

How does it work?

Razer Cortex: Booster Prime adopts machine learning technology to generate a set of specialized game settings intelligently.

First, it detects your PC's configurations including CPU, GPU, RAM, and screen resolution. It then computes the settings needed for your PC to achieve an estimated lowest & highest FPS (Frame Per Second) for a specific game. All this is possible with machine learning as it's able to figure out optimal game configurations even across different PC's and setups.

Each predicted FPS corresponds with an optimized setting which ranges from high-quality mode to high-performance mode. With the predicted FPS, you can then set your preferred FPS to get your optimized game settings.

Simply slide for your preferred mode!

Based on this example, "competitive" mode is best recommended by Razer Cortex: Booster Prime.

Should I run Cortex even if i have a monster of a PC? I have Cortex on my RP2 but will it just be unnecessary on my PC?

Even on a high end rig some optimisation can't hurt.

Only for PUBG?

For now yes, hopefully there will be more games implemented into the special program in the future, regular Cortex works fine with all games tho.
