If for detecting gta 5 we have to manually add it is it applicable for all gta games?
Hey there!
Thank you for sharing your issue with us here. My name is Michelle from the Razer Cortex technical support team. Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions, comments, or bugs you encounter when you use Razer Cortex PC.
Here are methods for Razer Cortex to detect Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas automatically:
1. Make sure that you installed the game in the default position. You can change your game's installation path by selecting a different destination drive, but do not make any changes to the folders or directories.
2. Launch Razer Cortex before you launch the game.
3. The game will be automatically added to Razer Cortex after you launch the game with Razer Cortex running.
Adding a game manually is not recommended. But if you have already added the game to Razer Cortex manually, please follow the below methods to add the game again:
1. Remove the game from Razer Cortex.
2. Reinstall the game.
3. Delete the file: C:\\ProgramData\\Razer\\GameManager3\\Data\\rzr_userid
4. Restart ‘Razer Game Manager Service 3’:
- Exit Razer Cortex.
- Go to ‘Task Manager’ > ‘Services’.
- Right-click on ‘Razer Game Manager Service 3’ to Restart it.
- Re-launch Razer Cortex.
5. Launch the game. The game will be automatically added to Razer Cortex.
We look forward to your reply soon. Appreciate your patience.
Michelle
