[TotW] A Razer Silver Lining | Razer Insider
Skip to main content

Many Insiders spend lots of time getting that hard earned Razer Silver and for good reason, great loot! But for many of us, we simply don't have the stockpile of Silver that would net us a great piece of Razer hardware, but have managed to accumulate some over time and have nothing to spend it on - especially if you're constrained by the country you live in.

My question for many of you this week: if you had the opportunity to donate your Razer Silver to a good cause, would you do it? Are there any particular causes you're passionate about? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Like and comment for a chance at the weekly "Great" achievement, additionally, well thought out responses may get you some extra Silver.

Great TotW! I'd like to convert it to real money so I can help the homeless and hungry and build rehabilitation shelters. Or have it so that they accept Razer Silver for that cause.
id probably donate it to kids in need, kids who love gaming and hardware but cant afford to have anything any of us have here at the forum.
I will only donate the silver with redeemed the prize to the friend who can't afford a decent gamer equipment
I won't donate to any, instead, I will show them how to earn their own silver in a proper way
Hello friends,

If we have opportunity to use our Zsilver to donate for cause, I think it's a great idea.

I would agree with that for example WWF or all associations.

Congratulations to all personal, corporates and wealthy person for your donations to associations, you make the world a better place.

Thank you so much.
Donation is doing nothing to help them! If they want to own the gear, they already have their own channel to do so
Yes ! If RAZER set a foodbank to the whole country especially in my country, Malaysia because of the pandemic that caused many people lose their job and not enough money to buy some food nowadays. So, foodbank is the best way and we can donate for the foodbank by using RAZER SILVER

True gamer ❤️
i don't mind donating those redeemed gears.
why not create an ecosystem of silver/gold crypto.

then through gamification, people earn/mine them, spend them etc.
I think Sneki is already a great environmental initiative, so if I was short of getting my hardware and was about to have them expire, I'd like to donate them to other community members here, that they can get their desired hardware - but then make it maybe compulsory that a 1% levy is added onto checkout prices to donate to the Sneki cause?

They tried something like that... really wasn't profitable... Gamma I think it's called
I spend my zSilver in Steam money for my country.
YES! my friends started to grind when i got my first razer peripheral through razer silvers. I want them to be part of razer family too!

  • Motive, determined and consistence to gaining zSilver is the key.

  • Use all the resources that RAZER have given you when earning zSilver.

  • Do not break the RAZER house rules.

  • Earning zSilvers through Insider may seem slow, but try spend more time in it rather then spend time in fb and Instagram and other social medias.

I donated plenty of Razer Silver back to Razer on raffles, bucause they werea about to expire :big_grin_:
With the current pandemic, maybe Razer can create a pool of razer silver donations and help out people who are living in difficulties.

Yes I have and would donate for a proper cause, I'm from the Philippines
Hmm, i think it depends on the cause, i get the feeling that i never have enough silvers to get all the products that i want.
I should just decide who will receive them, but ig I would do it
If Razer would honor a dollar value for Razer Silver donated, I would certainly donate my silver! Honestly, the more options there are to donate, the better! Everyone has individual causes that they care about, and making plenty of donation options accessible would encourage donation! Because Razer already has a strong following for Sneki Snek, I think that focusing on sustainable donation options would be great too! 🙂
