Basalisk Ultimate Wireless: mouse1 randomly activates on it's own

I purchased this Basalisk mouse earlier this year. For the most part it works great. However, the mouse1 button randomly activates on it's own without my pressing any buttons. This seems to only happen in PUBG but it might be that it's only noticeable in PUBG because randomly firing your weapon is not something you want to happen. I don't really play other shooters to know if it happens elsewhere. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I have double checked my in-game keybinds to make sure there are no other keys presses that could be causing this and haven't found anything. My previous mouse was a Logitech and this never happened in 3+ years of PUBG so it makes me believe this is a mouse defect perhaps?

    Is the mouse working fine when playing other games? Does the issue occur when Synapse is running in the background? For now, isolate the behavior by performing the steps from this link. Should the problem persists, do send me the serial number of your Basilisk Ultimate via PM. I can use it to look into firmware-related solutions. Let's continue from there. I'll lock this thread now.
