Base Station V2 - Disconnects randomly every 2-3mins


I recently purchased the Base Station V2 and since connecting it to my computer every few minutes the Base disconnects (makes a disconnect sound) and then reconnects. I also have a Razer Baskalisk Mouse/Base and a Cynosa Chroma keyboard and have never had any issues with those devices. When the base station disconnects it refreshes my other devices and restarts the RBG on those devices. I have tried unplugging, restarting computer and plugging back in after restart - did not fix I have tried plugging in the base station into other USB ports on my motherboard - did not fix The only thing I have found as a workaround is to shut down all Razer software. This is not a preferred solution since my devices do not work correctly unless Razer software is running and the RGB goes back to stock rainbow/color cycle. Is this a known issue? Anything I can do to fix?

I have the same problem and I’m close to trashing it. It’s extremely frustrating and annoying.

Same. Very annoying, currently it is disconnected and used just as pice of metal stand

same happened to me, i thought it was my usb ports that were mal functioning but every other usb device works good, i purchased a new base and same issues happening, disconnecting and connecting,  when i turn on my computer the stand will not turn on, base sucks.

Exact same problem with mine. Razer sent me a new one and I have the exact same issue ! is that a joke ?


I have the same issue. I ordered one and found out where the cable connects to the back of the base station was loose. Just wiggling it made it connect and disconnect. The one I have now seems to disconnect and reconnect if I wiggle the usb connector, not sure why. All my logitech devices and even my razer speakers work fine. Seems to be just a faulty product.

it is clearly the product itself. Razer had to send me 2 consecutive replacement unit to have one finally working fine. Yes there is a bad batch and if yours is impacted you have to ask for a replacement as long as you finally have a « new » one

I just bought the Base Station V2, like just… plugged it into my PC and it just keeps disconnecting. This is ridiculous.

unfortunately same situation as ours. ask for replacement units as long as you finally have one working. 

 

those units are clearly wayyyyy too much faulty, I don’t understand why, after all those issues, they could not update the whole stocks everywhere. It is a joke

I struggle with the same issue, however it has never disconnected while I am in-game. It disconnected by keyboarddddddddddddddddd 5 timesssssssssssssssss while writing this very posttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt. I give up deleting                 them because it will delllllllllllllllllete the whole thhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhing.

Same issue here, faulty product is faulty and they should offer free upgrades when they release the v3.

My current workaround is a USB extension cable that I gaff taped to the connection and keep coiled + wrapped up behind my desk.
