Basilisk Pro V3 cannot pair with Mouse Dock Pro after firmware update

I updated the firmware of my Basilisk Pro V3 to v2.00.03_r1 today. After the update, I cannot pair my mouse with my Mouse Dock Pro. Moreover, the mouse dongle seems also not to work (it cannot be detected by my PC and it is not shown in the device manager). Now the mouse can only be used wired or with bluetooth. Is it a firmware bug? Is it possible to downgrade the firmware? How can I solve this issue?

I found the resolution to this issue.

It is necessary to update the firmware for the Mouse Dock as well. Really this is a sequence problem. We should have been required to update the dock first then the mouse.

You will need to have the mouse and the dock connected at the same time for Synapse to then see the dock also needs a firmware update.

The current firmware update (as of November 12th 2023) for the Mouse Dock Pro can be found here:

Once you finish running the firmware update, unplug the mouse it should immediately be detected by the Mouse Dock if you have the mouse in 2.4GHz mode, if you have it in the powered off wired mode just turn it back on to the 2.4GHz mode and it should be good to go.

Yes this has occurred to me as well. Very frustrating.

Also have noticed the mouse was drifting before doing the update over the last few weeks.

Just as a side precision. When you update your mouse, you will also see the firmware version of the dongle as updated in Synapse 3.0.

THIS IS WRONG

I spent 30 min searching and when I told myself, well lets just rerun an update for the dongle pro too. IT SAID UPDATE NEEDED, it wasn’t updated at all to the same version compatible with the mouse ! So don’t trust the info of firmware version in Synapse !
