Blackshark v2 Pro - Everytime I unmute my microphone, the sound input is isolated to one ear.

All my drivers are updated, including the most recent update for the headset. What's weird is that when I turn the volume up, the sound will even out again until I mute my mic again. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Are you using the BlackShark V2 Pro 2023 (RZ04-0453)? If yes, please check if this is the firmware (v2.04.02_r1) you’ve downloaded and installed for your headset. Also, try connecting the device to another USB port or computer to isolate the issue. Otherwise, please submit a ticket here or send me a PM so I can create a case on your behalf.

I didn’t have the problem until I downloaded the new  v2.04.02_r that released July 5th. I also tried all USB ports.

The issue I found was with mic monitoring/sidetone. When I have that on, the issue of isolated sound occurs.

I am also having this problem that the OP mentions, and turning off the sidetone ‘resolves’ this.

The fact that I cannot even downgrade to the last firmware that did not have this problem (v2.03.01_r1) is insane, and I cannot even factory reset the headset to the originally installed firmware (the ‘Factory Reset’ option from Razer Synapse itself does nothing).

Unbelieveable that I’ve now lost this functionality with no feasible way to restore the functionality. I appreciate there are issues with drivers, but the fact I cannot even rollback, and that the firmware updater knows better than me, is ridiculous.

Hey dallinflorentin! I appreciate what you did here as it can add to the team’s inspection.

Hi bytePastelPurple361! I recommend submitting a ticket here or sending me a PM so I can create a case on your behalf so our Support Team can start working on your headset’s concern. Thanks!

Apparently, this is still an issue because I just bought my V2 pro and am having this occur. Same thing with the sidetone. Razer seems to be too busy with their lightbulbs to put out a fix for something that should be super simple. Did anyone get a solution from Razer or was it just the usual “suck it up” that I tend to get.

Guys help me please i bought this headphones today ,complete the installing of razer thing that popped out, and when i turn them on and coneccted them to my pc, I start understanding that left headphone is not working, help me please.

Are you referring to updating the firmware of the headset or downloading Synapse? Did the left ear work prior to the download?
