Blackshark V2 sidetone is quiet

Hi there,

I have the dial on my headset maxed, the sidetone in synapse also maxed out.
checked the windows playback settings and sidetone is 100 there also.

But i barely can hear myself in games, i find myself almost screaming.
Can anyone please help me out and make this sidetone louder?
Even Mic Preview sounds louder & better honestly.

I want this to work properly, i like the headset and don't want to return it for such a reason if it is fixable.
I'm having the exact same problem. I love the headphones but the mic(sidetone) is too quiet.

I have mic monitoring (sidetone) enabled and at maximum volume, and the adjustment knob on the headset is adjusted up as well. I am using the Razer USB Sound Card, and it is the default for my input and output. I have exhausted myself trying to solve this problem and failed to.

Please advise, else I too will end up returning.

I ended up plugging the Blackshark V2 into the USB audio controller I had from a previous Kraken TE headset. The USB Audio Controller has much louder sidetone. I really hope a Synapse update can fix the Blackshark V2's USB cable, though.

I unfortunately don't own a Kraken TE controller, so i can't test that.
I hope razer can push a hotfix out to make this USB controller fix it's sidetone volume

I was messing with the USB Sound Card again, and after cranking Mic Volume and Sidetone to 100, and checking the Mic Boost option, the sidetone feels just as loud as the USB Audio Controller. However the mic quality definitely seems better on the Audio Controller, as talking too loudly with the Sound Card seems to blow out the mic rather easily.

Sadly all your teammates on support are not helpful at all, telling me that it is a hardware issue when I know that the problem is in the synapse software.
I have tried all possible solutions with no luck.
Also I have bought another wireless v2 pro to try it, the problem is absolutely the same.
The sidetone is not loud and clear enough to use.

On the other hand the wired v2 worked flawlessly.

Will you do a software update or should I return them all ?
Same issue here, i firstly plugged in - sidetone was loud, three minutes later, dies and no sidetone.

To this date I have talked to about 5 members of the "support team" . Each of them suggested the same things, neither of them really solved anything. So I was told that a Razer Level II Technical Support Representative will talk to me.... I have got an email today.....

I really thought that they are going to fix the issue in the software...
Guess what ?
The advice in the email was to download the new firmware :(
They have recommended this like 15 times at least... so wow.. such help :/

The customer service is a joke... aaand also I have wasted several hours explaining the issue to several colleagues over and over hoping that they look into it so everyone of us would be happy but they dont care
