Blade 15 Advanced (2019) power plug issue

Hello everybody,

I'm now a proud owner of a Blade 15 Advanced gaming notebook, but sadly I've got a problem.

The plug of the power supply delivered with the notebook (230W) can only be plugged into the notebook with great force. Unplugging feels like tearing the socket out and leaves significant scratches on the plug.

Fortunately I had already ordered a second power supply here in the store and this one fits like a charm. There are also no deep scratches on the plug just by plugging it in.

I am not sure if this is a warranty case because the power supply is basically working.
I could still return the entire notebook, but that seems like a waste.

Is there something I can do about this?

Greetings from Germany

You can return the power brick for a replacement. But there's not much that we can do about scratches on the socket unless they affect the performance of the device. Shoot me a PM if you want to get the charger replaced.
