Can't Login to Synapse

When I got on my computer today I was logged out of synapse. When I tried to login I was unable to. I reset my password. Now, when I open synapse I get the message: "There was an unexpected error. Please reload the page and try again." I close the program, reopen it, and get the same message. I am not even able to attempt signing on.
