Hello guys, so i just bought a blackshark v2 pro and when I play warzone, i know for a fact that the sound and audio im getting is weird and bad. The synapse app tells me that i should choose THX Spatial audio as an output sound device but i cant find it as u can see in the pictures. any way on how to get it or install it ? and how do i enable THX competitive mode in warzone ? thank you.

Unfortunately I have exactly the same problem. Is there any fix yet?
Uninstalled razer synapse to fix something and this same issue came up for me. Is there a solution?
I think I figured it out. You need to go to regedit and go to Computer\\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE. There I deleted THX and Razer folder after the uninstall and then I reinstalled razer synapse.

Hey Master_LJ! Please send me a PM if you haven't submitted a case to our Support Team yet.
I too have this exact issue. When I click on the warning nothing happens.
I tried:
Clean uninstall
Reinstalling Synapse
Repairing Synapse
Reinstalling Headphone Drivers
Updating Windows
Updating .Net Framework
Unplugging it and Plugging it back in

No luck so far... I think the best approach may be to just let it think we've forgotten and try again another day?

The old computer has it, but the new one does not.

Hey everyone! Thanks for posting your feedback and concern here. Feel free to send me a PM or submit a case. Also, please refrain from posting details such as personal/device information and case numbers on threads.
I have the same issue. Built anew PC recently, Fresh install, and all updated. THX spatial audio is not an option in sound output devices.

when I bought the Blackshark v2 Pro, installed it on my previous build and all worked fine.

however, on my new PC, installing everything from fresh THX spatial audio is not showing up.

I see others have a similar experience, looking forward to a resolution.

Thanks everyone! I'll check your responses right away.
I seemed to have solved this, even though my PC is brand new, with all new parts and fresh windows install (Win10 Home) it seems the THX Spatial Audio was disabled in Audio output devices, you can see what's disabled unless you click manage sound devices. To my surprise it was disabled. re-enabled it and now everything is working and can see Blackshark V2 Pro and THX Spatial Audio as output devices.

hope this helps someone as well.

Hey niSmo! Thanks for sharing your workaround.

Hi usolcev! I replied to your PM. Please check your inbox.
Hi all!

First of all thanks to @Razer.Speedcr0ss and all razer tech support for resolving the issue.
Their suggestions for solving the problem gave me an idea and checked it and solved the problem (at least for me).

So what I did:
1. go to the device manager.
2. found audio devices there.
3. press actions - install old devices (!It's important).
4. select sound and game devices and click next.
5. in the list on the left we find THX (on the right THX Spatial Audio) and click next.
6. done! THX is now on the list of devices.

I attach the photo that I wrote above. Unfortunately, there are screenshots in Russian, but I think it will be useful anyway.

I appreciate your post! I'll send this to the team for validation as they can add it in their investigation and possibly as an official fix too. I'll be locking this thread now.

Hi everyone! If in case you found this thread, please check the steps with English screenshots below:

a. Search Device manager by using the Windows file search

b. Click any hardware category from the list. (I selected my computer name).

c. Once you've selected any hardware category, click the "Action" button at the top-left and select "Add legacy hardware".

d. A "Add Hardware Wizard" prompt will display, click "Next".

e. The hardware wizard prompt will display options on how would you like to install the hardware driver, select "Install the hardware that I manually select from the list (Advanced)", then click "Next".

f. Select the "Sound, video and game controllers" from the list.

g. Look for the THX driver from the list, then click next.

h. The setup should be completed and the THX Spatial Audio should be back in the Device Manager list under "Audio Inputs and Outputs" and "Sound, video and game controllers".

Please let me know if the steps help. Feel free to send me a PM should you need additional assistance.
