Does the Naga Pro use the same switch as the Naga Trinity?

Hello everyone,

I'm a long term fan of Razer mice and recently, keyboards. I'm a big fan of their design as it fits my hand most comfortably of all the mice I've used. What I'm not a fan of is Razer's warranty, support, and ultimately their switches in the mice. I've had an Ouroboros that lasted years prior to me replacing it with another Ouroboros. Unfortunately, my second Ouroboros developed an issue where the mouse detected multiple clicks per single action. I had a Naga Epic that I used with my MMOs and, for a while, used that mouse. The Naga epic mouse ended up developing the same issue where it would sometimes register a double click when I just clicked once. This led me to purchase a Naga trinity as I heard it had upgraded switches.

Unfortunately, now my Naga Trinity double click when I click and sometimes even rapid-fires when holding down the mouse button. In truth, I would find a different brand mouse, but I genuinely love the feel of the mice they have. However, I'm really, really, very truly sick and tired of their crap internals failing with this double click problem.

The website says the Naga Pro uses optical switches. Will that have the same problems the last 3 mice I've owned in the past 5 years from Razer have had? The website says it's an optical switch, but so does the Naga Trinity, which has the EXACT same issue.

Thank you for reading my wall of text, and any insight you can provide.

they are different,
Naga Trinity has Mechanical Switches and Naga Pro has Optical Switches

Short explanations
mechanical switches is using physical contact to send signals from your mice to pc
optical switches is using lesser beams to send signals from your mice to pc

For more details about the difference between Mechanical and Optical Switches you can watch the video below

Ah! Thank you, I see I misread the Trinity as having optical when it was the sensor, not the switch. Thank you for the reply!
