Whats up guys?!
I just got a Radeon Core X with a Pulse Sapphire RX 580 Graphics card so I can connected to my Macbook Pro for editing purposes.
I wanted to know a few things and also fixes for some issues.
1) Should I turn the External GPU off when Im not editing? Should I Disconnect before putting to sleep?
2) When my Macbook goes to sleep it seems I cant turn it back on unless I open It. This was not the case before. In my previous setup I had an external monitor connected through USB-C & Wireless keyboard and mouse through USB to the Macbook and everything worked flawlessly and I didn't have to open my Macbook. Now it seems like a lot of hassle just to wake my Mac from sleep mode.Atny suggestions?
3) Anyone with a similar setup that can give me suggestions in how to have a better work flow though Final Cut Pro?
Thanks everyone!!

Hi there
1. No if you don’t care your electricity bill like me. When I pairing with stealth or blade 15 I never turn Core v2 off, just close the lid to put it on sleep mode.
For 2 and 3 I don’t use Mac anymore since I use rtx card and Apple hate nvidia unfortunately, and I don’t do Final Cut Pro as well, only game since my work mostly use excel or word that my phone can also handle. But I maybe know Mac users egpu community you can head up to egpu.io, there’s tons mac users there.
Cheers
