Hello,

I own a Razer Blade 18. When my laptop’s screen turns off due to energy-saving settings, and everytime, the fans suddenly goes into overdrive.

What is the reason for this?
How can I solve it?
Is this a known issue?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Christian

Is there any news on this?

I am having the exact same problem. No clue, why th fans would go nuts when the screen turns off.

I mean, the system keeps doing the same stuff while even having less power consumption with a screen in idle….

I am on a 2024 Blade 16 with OLED

Hello KingKonsgsy,

Sadly I have received no feedback from Razer on my post.

I think the behavior disappeared. But don’t ask me why? I did not really change anything.

Maybe a software update from Razer or Microsoft fixed this issue?

Sorry, I could not further help you.

Best regards

Christian

Then I hope, it will disappear for me too  :-)

Best regards, Chris
