Recently Razer published a firmware update for the HyperPolling Dongle that enables 8kHz polling rate on all supported mice.

The version in question is 2.00.02.

However, when accessing the support page, the download link actually downloads a much older version, 1.00.00_r9 to be precise.

Razer, please fix this.

I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but after installing this firmware, the dongle no longer works.

I am having the same issue as @HotMagentafirstsecret139

HELP, RAZER!

Maybe needs re-pairing with the mouse ?

I've done that. I also searched through some Reddit forums for the answer and others ran into the same problem. I was hoping the fix would be here. Preferably something simple.

Is the dongle simply not recognized anymore ? Like, when you download the stand alone firmware upgrade which I posted above, is the dongle recognized or not ? Or by Synapse, though I hate Synapse and refuse to use it, lol.

It appears to be recognized by Synapse but it doesn't have the led illuminated anymore. It's not recognizing the Deathadder V3 Pro anymore either. I don't get it. Maybe the mouse won't connect to the dongle?

It worked fine before the firmware update and now it doesn't work. I'm not sure what to do.

The problem of Synapse recognizing the device but not working was resolved by using the Device Detection Troubleshooting Tool.
