Glitching scroll wheel

Hi, so recently the scroll wheel on my Deathadder Elite started to glitch while using it. For example when I scroll on any website it used to be smooth but now it reacts like I would scroll 5 times even though I scrolled once and it happens every 2-3 seconds or when I play games when I need to use scroll wheel (for example Minecraft) sometimes I can't put out my sword because it doesn't respond to me scrolling so I have to use numbers. It's really hard to explain but I hope you know what I mean. I tried cleaning the mouse interior but it didn't help. Any ideas on how to fix this? It might be a software issue I don't know.

    Here's a 40 second video of scrolling. Sorry for the low resolution I had my OBS setting on 4:3 but in my opinion the issue is visible in the footage.
