I just got a pair of Razr Hammerhead Pro Hyperspeed earbuds, and I was excited because I thought I’d be able to use them over bluetooth for music and such where latency didn’t matter, but get a lower latency connection with the USB-C dongle when gaming or watching movies (actors lips moving out of sync with their voice always annoys me).

The first thing I did when I opened them was to try out the USB-C dongle, but I can’t seem to get it to work with anything. I tried it on my Android phone, with and without the Razr app installed, an iPad, a Macbook, and a Windows laptop. I tried both USB-C directly and via the included USB-A adapter for the windows laptop.

The android phone recognizes that there's something connected, but has charging as the only option - no audio/data transfer.

None of the other devices seemed to even recognize that there was anything connected - nothing in Device Manager on Windows or System Report on macOS.

The earbuds do work over bluetooth, but with noticeable latency, even when in "game mode".

I did file a support ticket with razr, but I thought I also check here and ask if anyone have any suggestions? If not, I may end up just returning them.
