Kiyo Pro Ultra & Microsoft Teams

Just got my Kiyo Pro Ultra. Love it so far but why can't I use my Synapse settings in Microsoft Teams? Teams recognizes my Kiyo Pro Ultra but I have a somewhat grainy picture and colors and lighting are off. No watermark (if activated in Synapse). Please don't tell me the camera doesn't play well with Teams.

I read somewhere (with regards to the Kiyo Pro) that deactivating the preview in Synapse does the trick but it didn't. Alt least not for me. Tried different cables and different USB ports. Drivers, Synapse and Firmware (?) are up to date I guess. And I am running Windows 11

That's odd. Did you try updating your Windows OS, Razer Synapse 3.0, and your .NET Framework to its latest version? Please try removing all your Razer Synapse-related files by downloading the Razer Driver Clean-up tool: https://rzr.to/Tf53xj. Once done, please restart your computer and reinstall your Razer Synapse 3.0. you may also check if the behavior happens while using the Microsoft Team's browser version. Let me know how it went.
Sorry, no luck so far. Have yet to try tthe browser version of Teams

Thanks for letting me know. Should the issue happen again when using the app, please send me a PM. Thanks for your cooperation.

Unfortunately, the Kiyo just doesn’t work reliably with Teams. I’ve had my Pro for two years and it’s been an ongoing issue as you can easily find online. Sorry to hear the new one has the same issues. Works great everywhere except Teams. MS says it’s Razer, Razer says it’s MS. Mine doesn’t get grainy, it works fairly well until I present, then crashes every time. It used to freeze right when I joined calls. Bought a $60 logitech CS something and works perfectly - unfortunate because the Razer looks better, but doesn’t work with Teams.

I have also issues with the Kiyo Pro when using Microsoft Teams.
Very often the picture from the webcam has frozen.  Because I need the webcam for business (home-office) I am going to sell my Kiyo Pro webcam and buy one with a better reliability.

Bye Razer!

Dirk

The issue here. My Razer Kyio Pro jus stops working in MS Teams (on Mac) after a few minutes. This does appear randomly but regularly. I then need to unplug it and plug it back again. Sometimes it starts working again, sometimes it does not.
Why does Razer not support the latest Synapse software on Mac btw?

Got a new Razer Kiyo Pro.

I’m trying to get setting running on Synapse and apply them to my teams.

But that seems not to work. Any suggestions?

It seems it just wouldn’t…. I have the same issue - Teams simply ignores my camera settings made in Synapse (this applies to the regular Synapse 3 and the latest new Synapse beta) and displays “pass-through” picture.

But that’s the least important in the light of Kiyo Pro randomly but constantly freezing and causing Teams to crash / freeze.

It’s a real shame Razor hasn’t given any attention to this issue as - looking at different posts here and on other forums - it’s been present for at least 4 years.
