Kraken V3 X Audio cutting out

Every minute or so, if I’m in a Discord call, sounds from the call will stop coming through. Leaving and rejoining brings it back but it’s annoying to have to do so, should I be checking anything to do with the headphones?

I’m here to help. Did you check what the input device set for discord in the application's settings? To address the issue of sound cutting out during Discord calls, you can try the following troubleshooting from this article and the steps below laid out below:

  1. Ensure that your headset is properly plugged in and directly connected to your device.

  2. Restart Discord and audio apps: Close and reopen Discord, as well as any other audio apps or programs you are using during the call. This may help refresh the audio settings and resolve any temporary glitches.

  3. Adjust Discord settings: In Discord settings, navigate to Voice & Video and check the input/output device settings. Make sure the correct headphones are selected for both input and output.

  4. Disable hardware acceleration: In Discord settings, go to Appearance and disable hardware acceleration. This can sometimes cause audio issues, so turning it off may help resolve the problem.

  5. Check for background apps: Close any unnecessary background apps that may be consuming system resources and causing conflicts with audio playback during Discord calls.

  6. If the issue persists, try restarting your computer or device to refresh all system processes and settings.
