Latest Synapse update causes FPS drops and stuttering in RDR2.

I noticed that my Razer Synapse was updated today. I launched RDR2 and played for a few minutes, then I noticed that I got huge FPS drops (from 70FPS down to 5-10FPS) and stuttering almost every time I move my mouse. So I closed the Razer Synapse and all its apps and now the game runs fine again. So I do believe that something in your update is messing up the game. I haven't tried any other games.

I've rebooted my computer several times after the update but still the FPS drops and suttering remains. The only fix I have is to close Razer Synapse.

Just thought I'd let you guys know.

I need some advice on what to do.

I guess I'll have to submit a ticket.
Can I revert to a previous version of Synapse?
I too am getting the same issues. If I uninstall Synapse 3, my new Basilisk works just fine. With Synapse 3 installed, I get stuttering and sound issues like crackling through my headset. Never had this issue with my Mamba 2012, which ran Synapse 2, that I, unfortunately, replaced with this garbage. This software is a resource hog and is a nuisance at best.

The sensitivity also goes haywire in games. It is like the software does not remember what DPI setting you had if the mouse happens to go into sleep mode and causes all sorts of chaos. I have been trouble shooting this myself for over a week now and can definitively say it is due to Synapse 3.

Hey everyone! Thanks for posting your Razer Synapse /Cortex concern here. Are you using a Razer laptop too? Please send your Razer Synapse logs by clicking the Razer Synapse profile photo/avatar then select "Feedback" and send me a PM together with the case number. Let's continue from there.
Well, in my case, I just uninstalled Synapse 3 and the mouse works fine, although the docking station locked up my PC a few times when plugged into a USB 3.1 port. Unfortunately, this did not allow me to use the full functions of a $170 mouse. As I grew tired of troubleshooting this product, I returned it and purchased a Logitech G502 instead. Sorry, but I am not paying to BETA test your software and drivers. Shame, because I loved my Mamba 2012.

And, no, I was NOT on a laptop.
