Microphone of the headset not working on computer

I just bought a Razer Blackshark V2 X and my voice sounds “far away and like a robot” (according to my friends). I tried the headset on my cell phone and everything sounds alright but I have also tried another headset on my computer and it sounds fine. I have tried with two jack splitters (one came with the razer headset, the other I bought some time ago for my previous headset) and it is the same result. Are you using some communication platform when the issue occurs? If so, do you mind telling me which one? Also, please send me the serial number of your headset via PM. That way, I can verify its model and assist you further. Let's continue from there. I'll lock this thread now.
