Mouse Mat Surface Calibration Won't Work

I have a Mamba TE and I'm trying to use the mouse mat surface calibration tool in razer synapse but it says "An error occurred while fine-tuning your mouse sensor, inconsistencies might have been made during the calibration." I get the error when I switch from zigzagging horizontally to zigzagging vertically.
