Hi Support,
My Nari Ultimate has always had mic issues since Ive bought it and went back to my kraken 7.1s as I use them for gaming 95% of the time. I bought them in March and only use them sparingly since. I decided to write up this support post to see if I can get any help. I've read some on the razer support site but I havent found a fix yet.
Sound and Enhancements work fine, no issues there, its only with the mic itself. I have tried various different things to get it to work properly but no luck yet.
I am using the latest version of Synapse 3.4.711.71718
In sound settings I have set playback to 6-Razer Nari Ultimate - Game
Recording is set to 5-Razer Nari Ultimate - Chat - Channel is set to 1 channel, 16 bit 48000hz DVD Quality
I have played around with the mic settings in synapse, turning on ambient noise reduction to high, vocal clarity to high, mic sensitivity up and down, Mic volume up and down.
No matter what I do the sound is coming through my headphones and going through the microphone. Its as though the ambient noise is still coming through from the music, game, video into the mic and when trying to use to chat to friends they cannot hear me or understand me at all. If i have nothing running in the background they can hear me OK but with my Kraken 7.1's I could be blaring a song and chatting to people and it is crystal clear. This headset was twice the cost of the Krakens so I figure the mic should be at least the same or better. Is there a fix I can implement for mine?
Thanks in advance,
Snow

Hi there! Does the issue happen in both wired and wireless mode?
Hi RedPanda,
Thanks for the reply
I just did a test and Yes it happens when plugged in and when not plugged in. There is no difference if I use it plugged in or not with usb.

Thanks for the update. Please PM me the serial number of your Nari Ultimate. I'll assist you further from there.
Thanks, I will do
