New razer kraken pro v2 doesn't work on pc

Hello,
I ordered this headset 2 days ago and have received it today. I spent an hour switching the audio and mic jacks around, checking audio settings and making sure I plugged everything in right but my headset doesn't work directly through my pc. The mic wont work, it wont play any audio, it has no chroma and hasn't showed up in synapse. However, when I use it through my xbox controller, I can hear everything fine. I don't know what to do. I'm used to using USBs for headsets so I don't know if it's something I've done. I've tried using both the mic splitter and the regular singular jack. I have attached screenshots of what my audio settings look like.

Update: I've gotten audio to play through the headset. However, it still isn't on synapse and the mic isn't working

Disable surround sound app. Seems to have been a factor when I used the mic. Should work. Use Sonic Spatial sound for Windows to get 7.1 surround sound

Thank you for the help. My mic is now working, however the headset isnt appearing on synapse and I still have no chroma effect.

There’s a lighting tab in synapse. Best to uninstall everything Razer related and only install synapse 2.0. Don’t install the Razer surround sound app. It’s literally a mic killer

I just downgraded from synapse 3 to 2 and it still isn't listed and my mic has stopped working again.

Nvm, my mic is working again after unplugging and replugging it back in. I am still having issues with synapse

Kraken only works with synapse 2.0 to my knowledge

I have installed 2.0 and my headset isn't listed on it. Is there anything I'm missing?

Is it the TE or 7.1 V2?
