On-board Memory
I use a KVM to switch between a Windows 10 machine and a Chromebox. I thought I'd be able to configure my chroma profiles on the Windows machine and then they would just stay active when I switch. I configured my new black widow elite keyboard just the way I wanted it, stored the profile in the on-board memory, and... as soon as I switch to the Chromebox, it reverts to factory default. I tried to switch profiles using the hypershift shortcut, but they all seem to be factory defaults. So it seems these profiles are computer-specific?
So my question is: is there a way around this, so I can store a profile to the keyboard so that it can be used on any host computer (unless Synapse is running and overrides it)? If I have to do something special trick to make it work, that's fine, because it would be worth it and I only switch maybe once a day. If not, why would I want to store profiles to the keyboard at all if they're not usable across multiple computers? Is it just for fast switching from the keyboard itself? I don't understand why this feature works the way it does, and it's frustrating.
