Pro Type Ultra - Key Spam (only the "o"), Unknown serial?

I ordered a Razer Pro Type Ultra keyboard last November to give my work area (and conference calls) a bit of a quieter typing experience and when it arrived in early December, worked as intended. Unfortunately my work system is a Mac and don't have the Synapse app to do much to configure the keyboard, but it worked fine.

However, I tried to register the keyboard to my Razer ID but was told the serial number was "unknown". The initial character looks like a capital "i" (not a 1, as they are in the serial but are printed different than this character). Anyhow, didn't think much of it.

However, for the past month or so I've been getting extra "o"s whenever I am typing anything using the letter "o", and since this is for work, a lot of typing is part of the job and this results in a lot of backspacing and retyping. Often it will spit out two o's at once, other times, when I'm typing a lot, it seems to add an extra o but sometimes after the following character (such as adding an "o" after the "l" or "w" in following). I switched from Bluetooth to the 2.4Ghz dongle thinking that'd help--but no, same result. I switch it to another computer (an old Razer Blade Stealth) and it was still giving me multiple "o"s. Checked for firmware...didn't see any. Tried it on my gaming desktop--same result. Now to be specific--it does not do it on every single use of "o", but seemingly a majority (but it also seems to come and go, and more heavy the typing, the more frequent the issue). I've removed the keycap and ensured there was no errant dust or anything that I could see (used some compressed air to make sure the area was clean.

Just for kicks I connected to Bluetooth to an iPad Air (4th gen) and again--double o's.

So now I am (seemingly) unable to register the keyboard, past the return window, and it's driving me crazy. I've tried new profiles on the Windows computers in Synapse3 but again, no change.

Any ideas here? Any thoughts on the serial number registration? Just wondering really what my options are here as I actually like the keyboard.

Thanks for giving us comprehensive details of the issue, and I appreciate that you followed some troubleshooting steps on your own. I got your back, and I'd like to have a closer look at the problem. Can you please send me a PM with your device's serial number? That way, I'd be able to investigate why the serial number is not accepted by our system and seek firmware updates that may correct the key chattering issue.
