PWM controller in Synapse 3

I have installed Synapse3 and a PWM fan controller. The software sees the PWM but when I select it in Synapse it doesn't do anything. I have removed the software and reinstalled..same result. How do I control ther fans. I have three fans attached and they are running at a default speed.

Hi, i have same problem. Since yesterday fan controller is not responding.
Same here. Ever since Razer Synapse updated to version 3.7.831.83015 it's been not responding.
I click on the fan controller on Synapse but it doesn't show anything.
Super annoying.
Razer please fix this.
Same issue here , Ever since Razer Synapse updated to version 3.7.831.83015,
And the Razer Raptor monitor also had problems, and has been prompted to upgrade the firmware after the update, but the firmware is provided in November 2021, and the monitor has already updated the firmware. However, the prompt firmware update will always appear. ~!So there must be something wrong with that.
Please fix it as soon as possible!!!!!!!

I just put together a new build and thought I done something wrong because I was having the same issue. Glad I found this thread because I thought I broke something. Guess I got to go to an older version or just wait.
How can i install older version? Any ETA on new version of the Synapse? :confused_:
I have the same problem + in addition to it, I can not update the firmware on the PWM fan controller. WTF?
I think a`m alone with this problem... Razer please faster fix the problem... My controller now is work on maximum noise fan`s
I just received another update and it doesn't fix this. Seriously Razer this is really pissing me off. Fix the damn thing or have a representative respond and acknowledge this issue instead of leaving people who bought your product hanging. ffs
Assembled a new PC and thought that this controller was defective
Same Issue , Annoying !!! all my fans are running at full speed as i cannot control them , Razer wont let you roll back , SMH

I wasn't aware that Razer forces the download from their servers even when you have another version downloaded. I'm still having the same issue. Trying to find a work around for it.
Yea there are no downloadable synapse links , only for the downloader that downloads the latest ver.
I had to take the razer hub out and stick in my old hub that came with my case as my fans were screaming at 2000 rpm SMH .. I will be watching this thread to see if there is a fix and its safe to go back lol
Not a fix, but I reset the fan controller in the Synapse settings section and it created a new fan profile using the default fan speeds. At least it's quieter while we wait for a fix.

it has been 15 days ago .razer do nothing with that ..

strange!
good news guys .. it has been fix now ..when install the new update ~!~~~~!!!!
Yes it works now! GG :smile_:
Firmware issue still persists. The device cannot be flashed to a new firmware version.
lol, I ripped out the damn thing and placed a hub instead and control all fans from BIOS.
The problem is that when I contacted Razer support they wanted me to go through so many troubleshooting steps where the problem just happened to be that they just needed to fix the damn thing from their awful software that they call Synapse.

I honestly did not have the time to go through the troubleshooting they laid out in the support response because I 100% knew by following all that would end up solving not a damn thing. All that was required was Razer to update Synapse to resolve the issue that an update to Synapse broke it in the first place.

Even though it is fixed now, I am still so bitter about it to actually go back and put the thing in my PC again.
Also I don't really feel like installing Synapse again 😛
