yo guys I just got a Blackshark V2 X as a temporary headset and I’ve figured smth out bout the white noise u hear.
In the sound options in Windows, under the recording tab, go to the device tht is, ur Razer headset mic, go to the Levels tab under this section, and the culprit seems to be the Microphone Boost feature. If you turn this boost all the way up to 30dB, tht constant white noise is gonna be real noticeable. So to turn this noise down just put that to 0dB. However, I also found out that this noise is actually always playing, you can hear it if you turn the slider on the headset all the way up. P.S :I also can hear the background noise in my house and I believe this mic is picking it up and playing it back into the headset. Not sure tho
Edit 1: It is indeed a microphone problem. When I mute the “Microphone” bar, I don’t hear any sound.

I FOUND A FIX!!

For me, it was actually the independent soundcard that was causing the issue!

All I had to do was mute the sound of the separate soundcard mic and the buzzing vanished. Hope this works for you :)

I bought the headset today. I did a clean install on my windows and installed only the necessary drivers. Even though the headset is not connected to any device, there is a buzzing sound. The buzzing sound starts when I turn on the headset and never ends. I tried Razer's own troubleshooting steps, but nothing changed. If anyone can solve the problem, please write, I'm about to go crazy.

Have you tried testing it using Bluetooth on a mobile? If the buzzing sound stops when using Bluetooth, it's your pc settings. Hope this this useful :)

Let me briefly summarize my problem as follows. When I just turn the headset on without connecting it to any device, a buzzing sound starts to occur.

The headset may be faulty or have a chronic problem, this is not a problem for me, ultimately it will be replaced or refunded, but this process seems to be a little difficult in the country where I live.

Thank you for your answer. :)

I’m also having the white noise problem… Swapping the USB connector to a different slot helps the problem but it reoccurs at any given moment. I also noticed that it takes a considerable amount of time to connect the headset to the razer synaps software when my pc is starting up. Sometimes it doesnt even connect at all, which causes my headset to dis- and reconnect over and over again. And last but not least, my bleutooth connect-button is missing and i clearly bought the one with bleutooth connection (this is also mentioned on the box it came in). I am seriously considering to swap over to steelseries atm.
