Razer Blackwidow v4 pro won´t connect and keyboard lights are constantly flickering | Razer Insider

Hello wise insiders,

I have just received my Blackwidow v4 Pro keyboard today and it will simply not work for me. 

When i connect it the keyboard lights are constantly flickering in the same color and the keyboard is completely unresponsive. 

 It will not show as a connected device on Razer Synapse. All of these issues happens on both my  PC and my Laptop. 

Now the interesting thing is that everything worked perfectly on my PC for like 5 minutes all of a sudden. Then all the issues started happening again. 

When i reboot my PC with the keyboard already connected it works for about a single second before it crashes again. And i get the USB device connected and disconnected sounds from Windows. 

I have tried using different USB ports,  reinstalled Synapse and rebooted my PC more times then i can count. 

 

Anyone else encountered this issue?

I got the exact issue, although the keyboard worked fine for a few months, looking forward to a solution!

I think I have found the answer! 
For the first time the keyboard works! And it has been working for a full day now so I’m hopefull. 

 

I used a different USB cable than what came with the keyboard from Razer. Now it works perfectly. 

Using bad cables Razer?

I actually also got to this solution soon after commenting, using the other USB cable that came with the keyboard as well!

I was almost defeated by this too lol,

 

Now it works perfectly well again :)

 

If anyone sees this post from Google, the solution is -

Change your BlackWidow V4 cable to the second one that came in the package, or purchase a replacement one! ✨
