Hi, I've bought my Blade 15 approx 3 weeks ago. I have been incredibly satisfied with the performance so far. However, last night while I was casually browsing I realized that my trackpad makes an annoying clicking sound with minimal force like it has been displaced somehow and needs to be put in place.
This definitely did not exist before. Additionally, this is a more high-pitched clicking compared to the normal clicking function which still exists and works perfectly. How can I fix this issue since I use the trackpad a lot and the clicking sound is extremely disturbing?
Thank you in advance for all your help

The clicking sound disappears somehow only to reappear again in a few minutes so it's definitely a mechanical problem
Hi there! Can you share a short video of the issue?
Hi, What happened with regards to the problem with your trackpad?
I have had my Blade now for 11 months and had no problems but 2 days
ago noticed my track pad was making the same strange clicking/rattle sound
as if the top layer of the trackpad had come away from the underneath.
Like yours it the noise happens with the minimalist of force and is there one
moment then the next it is fine but there is an issue and i would be interested
to fine out what happened with yours
Thanks
Lee

Hello. Can you share a video of the issue? Also, what specific model of the Blade do you have?

Hi Lee, the reason I never got back to this thread was after having this issue constantly for a couple of days it stopped happening. Like the mechanism or whatever was somehow displaced and finally "clicked" back into its place on its own. So I'm sorry that I'm unable to offer a solution to you but this is definitely a hardware issue Razer should look in to.
Hi, yes I know what you mean as I've only had the issue with mine on one occasion and even then it would happened one moment and be fine the next. But there clearly was a problem as if the top sheet of the trackpad had come away from a bottom sheet, like to two sheets are held together by an electrical current that was fluctuating on and off. I have had my unit for a while with no problems and am very very happy with my blade but was concerned because the noise was annoying and an issue you should get with a cheap laptop not one costing what I paid
for mine.
Fingers crossed it was a freak isolated incident that happen, it doesn't appear that many people have had the same experience and like i say it only happened once and everything has been fine since.
Thanks and happy gaming
