Razer Cortex messed up something on my PC

So, I installed it today after my friend recommended it, and I regret it. I already removed it, but now I am trying to fix the mess this thing made on my PC because my eyes hurt now. After optimisation in League of Legends whenever I am moving my nickname (maybe even a champ) is blurry, I literally can't play anymore until I fix this. I don't know what this program did to my PC so please help it. Already tried the most common suggestions from Google and nothing helped.

This issue is caused by a feature MAKE ADJUSTMENTS. To resolve it, please download Razer Cortex from our official website. Then, follow the below steps to restore your digital vibrance.

  • Go to “GAME BOOSTER”> “BOOSTER PRIME”.
  • Click “MAKE ADJUSTMENTS”.
  • Click the “Restore” icon.

The Digital Vibrance of your PC will be restored when you exit your game. However, if Razer Cortex was shut down accidentally, you need to manually restore the Digital Vibrance by the above method.

Thank you for your fast response but I doubt that is the issue since Digital VIbrance is on 50% which is, I think, default.

Any other solutions?

I need more help from your tech. Your app ruined my settings; it is worse than I thought. Not just that, but now it's blurry while moving. It also fucked up my calibration and colours. Any professional help I can get here? The colours are now weird and unnatural, and my eyes hurt after what your app did to my PC! My screen vibrates from time to time, which has never happened before!

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this issue has caused you. The only feature in Razer Cortex that may change the digital vibrance of your PC is MAKE ADJUSTMENTS in BOOSTER PRIME.

When you click the "Restore" icon, all settings will be restored to your system's default settings. If it won't, please follow the steps in the articles below:

For Nvidia users: https://settingslab.com/nvidia-control-panel-color-settings/
If both do not work, please set your screen color in Windows 10: https://www.alphr.com/change-gamma-windows-10/

I tried:

1. Exactly the same thing you said, to install Cortex and make adjustments, then restore it, and IT DIDN'T HELP me
2. I did the whole system, and the issue is still here. The motion is blurry, and the colours appear weird
3. I tried to manipulate with all kinds of settings I found on the net, and nothing helped. Colours are either dull and pale, washed out, or scream how bright they are

I don't know what to do since re-installing the system didn't help. What is your Cortex app doing to our PC? Is my PC now damaged for good???

I feel like that thing seriously damaged something on my PC, and I have no idea what. My PC is now weird, and thanks to this bullshit app I have to pay for the tech to get it fixed if they can even fix it. This feels like some serious issue this thing did with the refresh rate or even damaging some of my hardware. I got a new 3070, and I just pray Cortex didn't make me waste my money.
