Razer Deathadder Elite mouse wheel is making squeaking sounds.

Hey there,
I bought this Deathadder Elite December 30, 2018. It had been working amazingly until a few weeks back when the mouse wheel started making these weird annoying squeaking sounds. Strangely enough, this sound only comes into existence when scrolling down. Nothing strange with scrolling up. Its quite distracting and irritating when sitting within a group and scrolling or even sitting alone playing games.
Any help to how do i fix it ? I did tried several methods described on a two year old reddit forum, but sadly, they didn't work.

Hi there! Thanks for sharing your concern with our support thread. Sorry to hear about your mouse concern. Have you tried spraying compressed air towards the scroll wheel to get rid of any foreign material causing it?

Yes, I did used the compressed air. Tried all sorts of weird angles to shoot the air. but, that doesnt seem to help at all. I also tried two of the methods at https://www.reddit.com/r/razer/comments/6olr1q/deathadder_elite_mousewheel_squeak/dmpd8hl/, other than the water one (afraid of damaging the internals).
In the end anything that i do doesn't seem to be working.
