Razer Goliathus RGB no longer functions all the way around the mousepad

Mousepad is plugged in directly to my computer. The light is bright right by where the cord meets the mat but is extremely dim everywhere else. What can be done about this? I love Razer products but this is very disappointing.

I’m having the exact same problem. No matter what I do with profiles or adjusting brightness, the mat no longer lights up uniformly or brightly.

I have the same problem too.  Only the first two inches on either side of the Power module lights up.  The rest is completely dead.  No matter what you select in the software.

Same here, the pad is not even 2 years old and I have not done anything crazy with in ( not even moved it once ) and the light is only at top right, when it reaches the right bottom corner it's dull and gone.

Same problem here, has laid flat since i got it, very poor.

I’m having the same problem and I’ve only had it for a year and a half.  It’s bright a couple of inches around the power module but fades to nothing the rest of the way around.  The mat has never moved off of the desk.  So I’m almost positive that it’s a problem that I personally didn’t cause.  I also have the Naga mouse, the BlackWidow keyboard and the Tartarus v2 Keypad.  All are working properly except for the Goliathus RGB mousepad.  Which leads me to believe that it isn’t a software issue either.  I wish Razer would respond with some sort of answer.

I submitted a case to Razer and they replaced the mat after I sent back the defective one. I would submit a support case with them just to see if they’ll do the same. Got the new one and it’s working fine.

Okay so if you know it’s not a hardware issue it might be something to do with your driver or synaps itself.  Go here and you should be able to find the driver for your specific  product..Download it,update the firmware and see if the issue persist.  If that doesn’t work than  try doing a clean full uninstallation of  synapse. There might be an issue with  synapse 3.0 beta  the current version has the most amount of support for the most amount of products.

Other than that I’d submit a ticket.  If its in warranty that is.

Other than that I’ve ran out of things to list that you would be able to try. If hope you can they can get your pad replaced or fixed.  Update us so we can continue to help you.
