Hello,

I’m having the same issue as of yesterday. The camera was working fine and then suddenly it crashed and the picture froze, and now it’s not recognised on my PC for longer than a few moments. The ring light on the Kiyo flashes on and there’s a glimmer of a picture but then it disconnects. It cannot stay connected for more than a second.

Razer, what should I do?

seems like everyone is having this issues. my camera stopped working today as well. anytime I try and access it, it turns the ring light on (constant strobe effect) and it unrecognized by my computer and by the synapse software. when I restart my pc, it shows the device with in the synapse but once I click on it to look at the settings or anything, the photo of the cam vanishes and I am back to strobe lights.

Here for the same reason: my razer kiyo pro keeps disconnetting from windows. Sometimes I plug off and on again and it works for a while, sometimes I have to restart the pc, sometimes nothing seems to work. I don’t know what to do at this point.

Having the same problem as everyone else. I had thought a replacement they sent had solved the issue but it has crashed twice today. Seems Razer wants to ignore the problems with this one. Between this and my Naga Pros that I have to blow in the mouse wheel at least once a day to keep from skipping , I am done with Razer.

I have had the camera for 2 years now.. No issue UNTIL the recent 2 weeks.

it stops working in teams, Google meets, Zoom. yeah you name it.

It disconnects and then its override my headphones and disconnects everything else until it reboots?
It doesnt come online even if i unplug and plug it in again or change ubs slot.. i have to do it a couple of times and then it works for a few minutes and then disconnects again.

With Razer giving the cold shoulder, im done. Going back to Logitech✌

Something that seems to have helped with the replacement I received. I uninstalled Synapse. Since I did that the camera has been stable. Not a great solution because I need synapse for the key mappings on my Naga Pro.

Same here, I used the camera for the past two years, and now, out of nothing it stopped working. It's even emitting a clicking sound when it disconnects. @Razer show us some respect and answer.

After performing all the typical  and advanced troubleshooting procedures to try to get my Razer Kiyo Pro camera to consistently work without freezing during Zoom or Teams video meetings, I finally got my camera to have stability. I ended up removing (uninstalling) the Razer software and uninstalled the Razer camera driver in the Device Manager )allowing Windows to detect the camera and load the driver on its own when it reboots) and then I rebooted my Windows PC. I did this about two months ago and have not had the freezing problem since.   I also fixed my friends Razer camera the same way and he also haven’t had the freezing issue any longer. To verify this fix, I re-installed the Razer software and like clockwork, the camera instantly began freezing in Zoom and Teams. I again removed the software and the driver — rebooted the PC, and  like magic, my Razer camera is stable again. So, it’s definitely a problem with the Razer software when interacting with Zoom or Teams, whether the Razer company chooses to fix it is anyone’s guess. They haven’t so far, so I wouldn’t bet on it. Hope this fix helps you.
