Evening.
I have a problem with headset.
Razer Kraken Kitty edition headset keeps disconnecting and disappearing from list of audio devices.
It just stop working at some point and when I am trying to figure out what is goin' on, there is no headset listed in audio device playback/record list. Only way to get it work is to restart laptop. Till next time it will be gone again.

My kiddo has full Razer setup incl keyboard, mouse, headphones, mouse pad and headphones stand.
And only Kraken Kitty brings a trouble since beginning.

To make it clear it's a new two months old laptop with fresh OS and latest Razer drivers/software.
It's a second laptop that has problem with this exact headset. Previous one works flawless with the rest of Razer peripherals aside of this headset. I was blaming laptop and my kiddo, but now it's clear that problem not with a laptop but this headset instead.
Drivers and software was uninstalled and reinstalled, fresh OS was reinstalled on both rigs.
It keeps disconnecting and disappearing from device list while all lights is still on.
She has another old Kraken (not a Kitty edition one) and it still working without any problems.

She was dreaming to get that damn pink Kitty headset for a long time, only to face endless problems over and over again. Right now it's just a display piece. This headset 8 months old and most of this 8 months we spent more time to solve another crash than enjoy it's performance.

Any help/ideas on what to do next?

Hi, thank you for sharing your experience with Razer Kraken. You've pretty much covered all suggested troubleshooting. It's highly likely a hardware issue. Please PM me your device's serial number to validate the warranty status and look into RMA options.
