Hi Everyone,

The issue is power delivery. For some reason the headphones aren’t getting enough power. If you connect the headphones to a power dock or a usb hub with power, the issue stops. I have verified this 5 times. Please let me know if this fixes your issue. @Razer Admin you guys need to fix this……. it’s crazy I figured out the issue in an hr what you guys have not in a year…..

I’ve been having issues with my headphone while in meetings! and mostly exclusively with Google Meet, and it keeps disconnecting and connecting like, every 5 seconds, which is awful because I don’t hear shit properly. Which is funny because even seconds before, listening to spotify or watching a video, I don’t have that problem. And it’s driving me insane, I thought maybe the USB port of my computer was the issue, but after realizing this I’m just annoyed and baffled.

Gonna try the solutions offered here and let you know what worked for me I guess.

@greatRoseDustshare895  This is what I used to resolve the disconnecting.

Amazon.com: JoyReken 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub, FlyingVHUB Vertical Data USB Hub with 2 ft Extended Cable, for Mac, PC, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, iMac, Surface Pro, XPS, Laptop, Desktop, Flash Drive, Mobile HDD : Electronics

You will also need a USB-C cable along with a 20w power brick to make sure you get more juice to the hub. This was the cheapest setup I could put together. I tried a dongle but it didn’t work.

If you want something a bit more useful but more expensive you can get a display link hub.

Amazon.com: Dell USB 3.0 Ultra HD/4K Triple Display Docking Station (D3100), Black : Cell Phones & Accessories

This will also allow you to have more than one display if you’re using a laptop.

Hey Guys!

I had the same problem and finaly found solution:

Right click on Razer Central icon in system tray > Click on settings > General menu:

ENABLE GPU HARDWARE ACCELERATION

It worked for me 100% (no disconnecting issue for 2 days now), hope it does work for you aswel.

Nope its happening again, i tried everything but looks like support dosent really care about this problem.

Hi guys!

Did you already try to reinstall its firmware and clean install the Synapse 3 app for further isolation? Should the issue persists, let me know through PM and provide the serial number of your device so I can validate its model and check for other options. Thank you!

There is no firmware for Kraken Ultimate Mr. Support…

You dont even care about us just posting standards bull…..

Been dealing with this same problem for a few months now every single day. I can keep my head as still as I want and it cuts out. Ive tried using another computer, still cuts out. I think its the wire as when moving it enough it cuts out, Im a couple months passed my 3 year warranty and if I dont find a fix will never buy a product from razer again.

I have the same problem and you won’t believe it …

ITS THE WIRE !!!  the wire part which is attached to the headset itself, try to touch or move it a bit hard with your hand and you see it disconnects at that moment !!!

as you all can understand, its not software problem, because I uninstalled and reinstalled everything, and after I saw @FlamingxFireball comment, I touched the wire and at least, I know where the problem is.

I have razer huntsman keyboard, kraken ultimate headset, deathadder elite mouse, firefly mouse pad and even razer hammer head, I am even more heart broken when I see no chat of razer supports in here, such big company that says “for gamers by gamers” . now I see that’s a joke, shame is all I can say.

I’ve had this same issue at increasing intervals over the last 2-3 months. If I turn my head a certain way it will pop and disconnect, turning back will pop and reconnect. This was manageable for awhile when it only happened once or twice an hour. But it is now so bad that immediately upon plugging in my headset it pops in and out literally every second - they are unusable. Given various testing of different devices, USB ports, and head-turning angles over the last couple months, it is obvious this is a wiring issue. I’m past warranty and may crack mine open to see if they are fixable. Not concerned about breaking them because they are useless in their current state.

Yeah I’ve had this issue since I bought the headphones. I thought originally it may have been my pc but after upgrading a few months ago this has been continuing to cause issues. I would love a fix for this, but reading the thread it doesn’t seem like it’s going to happen. I seem to be having the issues more when the audio peaks or during specific games. I can play some without issues and others seem to render the headphones basically unusable to the point where I just try a different pair as I lose the sound for such a long amount of time before they reconnect in the Windows sound output settings!

It’s me again, as long as I live in Iran, repairing fee for any kind of things in the world, is so cheap.

I know if that can be unbelievable, but some dudes, repaired it for me just for 2.7$ (1.800.000 RIALS)

hahahaah, wish you luck lads.

Hello everyone! I also have an issue with my Razer Kraken Ultimate headphones. I have a full Razer setup, and the headphones are the most expensive part, which is why I’m very disappointed in the company. I haven’t used any warranty or similar options because I prefer not to deal with that kind of process. I want you to know that the problem isn’t software-related or anything like that; it’s specifically with the cable that connects under the left ear cup. If you grab the cable and move it slightly, you’ll see that this is where the issue originates. I’m disappointed with the company because they offer high-priced headphones, but these have issues that feel like something from cheap €10 headphones.
