Razer Leviathan V2 Pro Never Tracking?


I just received the Leviathan v2 Pro.

 

Sounds good, obviously its notable feature is the tracking, except mine does not track.  It has never tracked; I have never seen the LEDs do anything but their little knight industries 2000  side to side dance (reminds me of knight rider).

 

Synapse sees the device, and synapse updated once connected.  I have connected via the mobile audio app; both apps tell me I am out of the tracking range.

 

What is the tracking range, exactly? I’ve mocked it up on a table, a desk, and on the floor, and sat directly in front of it at varying distances, angles, and heights; never shown anything but “currently out of the camera’s tracking range”.  Nothing is obstructing its view.

 

Am I doing something wrong / did I miss a step?

 

Also, from what I can tell, there is absolutely no way to open a support case / ticket / request about this product other than creating an RMA request.  Should I just return it?

In a certain setup, if my cat sits in my lap, it tracks my cat’s head, but not mine.

 

My head is human normal.  I guess I’ll return it.
