Razer Naga Chroma / Major Lighting Bugs | Razer Insider
Skip to main content

Hello,

I’ve been having light issues with my Naga Croma probably ever since it was forced to the new Synapse program. So I’ve mostly just kept it on green. But recently it’s getting on my nervers and I want to change colours.

Which doesn’t work!

First off: The logo NEVER changes to anything other than green! It just goes from bright to dark.

Number Keys and Scroll Wheel change from green/yellowish/orange/red during Spectrum Cycling, with the option of adapting to a dark blue if chosen in static. Of course only when chosen as dark colours. Lighter shades do whatever the heck they want to do.

I know she’s old and all, but seriously if it wasn’t for Synapse 3 I’m sure I wouldn’t be having this issue. (Considering I have to un- and then re-install everything with almost every update because she just doesn’t work anymore at all. Respectively Synapse 3 doesn’t work anymore at all, and with that, the mouse too. Synapse 2 is fine like it always has been. Same goes for the Deathstalker Chroma, which runs perfectly fine with Synapse 2.)

Can you please help me fix this nonsense so I can enjoy my Razer products again?

Adding samples of the different colour effects. =)
Please don’t mind the dirty buttons. Apparently she’s overdue for a bath. 😮 ...Desk too..

The logo goes completely dark whenever a darker colour is chosen.

Do you have ability to test it on another computer with clean synapse (empty profile etc)? But for me it just looks like LED fault on the THS logo.

No, I only have this one PC. Just tried to log out and use the “continue as guest” to see if anything changes on a clean profile, but that doesn’t change anything.

You can try to exit from synapse (or uninstall it), and install 3rd party software OpenRGB: https://openrgb.org/ to test the colors. If it’s still not working then LED is corrupted.

Yeah, no changes whatsoever. It did react faster to the changed settings however.

So there’s probably nothing to be done here anymore? Considering I’ve bought her in what, 2015-2016 or sometime around that, and warranty has died of old age already.
